Fergie: 'Touring with the Peas Is Like Touring With a Big Fraternity'

Fergie:She said: “I have a tour bus when we're in the US. I have my team on one bus, because I don't go out as much as the boys.
When I first joined the group I tried to keep up, but I'm a girl and I try to be a lady. I just can't go out as much as the boys do. So I leave at a different time and go to the gym and am responsible.

Touring with the Peas is like touring with a big fraternity. I'm lucky, I get to be the little mascot and once in a while go out with the boys and do it up. But I'm all about balance.”

Fergie also admitted she understands little about the business side of the recording industry and even gets her parents and therapist to listen in on her telephone calls to help her make sense of what is being discussed. She told Billboard magazine:
You know what? The business side of it? That's not my cup of tea. Will's great at it. He thrives on it. It's just not my personality. I want to get straight to the art. I have my business team explain it to me. I actually have conference calls where I have my mom and dad on the phone, my accountant, my lawyer... Once in a while, I even have my therapist on these calls. I'm not kidding.

I'm very cut to the chase; that's my personality. I don't like to speak in circles. So when people do that I'm trying to find out, ‘OK, guys, what are we really talking about here?’ So my therapist listens in.

It's very important to make informed decisions. I can be very impulsive, which is great as an artist but not as a businesswoman. So I have to slow down and surround myself with a great support team.”

Fergie and Black Eyed Peas to Perform at Super Bowl.

In today’s latest celebrity news and gossip, Fergie and her band, the Black Eyed Peas, will be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 6 at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. The Grammy-winning band has some big shoes to fill, as previous years have seen the likes of The Who and Paul McCartney at halftime shows. The band has a new album, The Beginning, set for release next week.

In other Fergie news, the singer recently reported that she looks forward to starting a family with husband Josh Duhamel. At the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Fergie said to In Touch magazine, “It’s going to be a whole other chapter and a lot of fun!”

Fergie Talks Sobriety, Marriage

Fergie recently sat down with Glamour for an interview, and two of the big celebrity news topics that came up were her battle with drug addiction and rumors of infidelity on the part of her husband Josh Duhamel. Though Fergie says she has followed her own journey on her battle with addiction to crystal meth, she does drink alcohol, specifically wine from her father’s vineyard. She told Glamour, “I just have my own journey, and I am very blessed to this day to be alive." 

With regard to her relationship with actor Josh Duhamel, another popular topic of celebrity news and gossip has been rumors that he has been unfaithful. But Fergie says weathering such scandals has made their bond stronger. Additionally, she told Glamour, “For me, I'm not a jealous person - that's just not my thing, you have to have trust in your relationship.”

Josh Duhamel Allegedly Cheats on Fergie

Josh Duhamel is in Fergie's doghouse for sure.

Georgia-based stripper Nicole Forrester contacted the National Enquirer and claimed she had an affair with Transformers star Josh Duhamel. Duhamel was in Georgia filming Life As We Know It. According to Forrester, he went to Tattletales Lounge, a strip club, with a friend. Forrester told Duhamel that she thought he was gorgeous, and he replied stating that she was hot too. Forrester claimed Duhamel called himself "JD" and paid her for a nude dance for himself and his buddy.

A few days later, Duhamel contacted Forrester and invited her to his hotel room at the St. Regis Hotel. Forrester claims that she had sex with Duhamel. The National Enquirer stated that Forrester passed an extensive polygraph test and that her story is absolutely true.

After this information came to light, other women began contacting media outlets claiming that this isn't Duhamel's first infidelity. A woman named Serena contact San Francisco's Wild 94.9 radio station and revealed that Duhamel cheated on Fergie while on the set of Transformers 2. Serena claims that she and her friend were stationed at an Air Force base in New Mexico while Transformers 2 was being filmed. She claims her friend had sex with Duhamel. His co-star, Tyrese, allegedly attempted to have threesomes with other cadets.

Josh Duhamel and Fergie, the female member of the Black Eyed Peas, were married in January 2009. There have been no statements from either star since Duhamel's cheating scandal made the news.

The long-awaited wedding of Fergie and Josh Duhamel took place in picturesque Malibu, Calif.

The ceremony on Saturday was a white fantasy theme and took place under magnolias filled with thousands of white roses, People magazine reports.

The Black Eyed Peas singer, 33, wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown during her wedding to the 36-year-old "Las Vegas" actor.

Fergie carried a bouquet of white flowers studded with crystals as the couple exchanged rings engraved with personal messages, People said.

Fergie and Josh got engaged in 2007. The happy couple met in 2004 when Fergie guest-starred on "Las Vegas."

FERGIE gave fans a New Year’s Eve to remember – performing in a bum-skimming dress.

The Fergalicious singer gyrated on stage in Las Vegas with plenty of tanned thigh on display.

She had to pile on the pounds for her movie, Nine, but is now trying to ditch the excess weight in time for her wedding to JOSH DUHAMEL on January 10.

She told People magazine: “It’s hard. I’ve been working out every day.”

Fergie, 33, said her routine involved “a lot of hiking and doing a bunch of sit-ups, working my butt off and just, you know, trying to maintain and stay healthy.”

If her toned legs are anything to go by, she’s on the right track.

What Are Celebs Doing For New Year's 2009?

Several stars are hosting New Year’s Eve parties in Las Vegas. Usher will ring in 2009 at The Bank while Lance Bass and Denise Richards will party at Prive. Carmen Electra will rock Tao and Fergie is hosting a bash at Lavo. After a year-long engagement, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel have set a date to tie the knot! The singer, 33, and the actor, 26, were engaged in December 2007. People reports the couple will make it official with a Los Angeles area wedding on January 10. The couple dated for over three years before Josh popped the question. Pretty exciting news, we think they are a pretty cute star couple!

What else is on the horizon for the pair? Fergie will star in the upcoming flick "Nine," based on the 1982 Tony award-winning musical of the same name. Duhamel will reprise his role as Captain Lennox in the "Transformers" sequel next year. Can't wait for that to come out!

It is thought they will have the ceremony over the weekend of 9-11 January.

Nicole Kidman, 41, and Kate Hudson, who star with Fergie in big screen musical adaptation Nine, will apparently be among the guests.

Fergie, 33, and Josh, 36, have been dating for four years.

They announced their engagement last Christmas.

Fergie's weighty role

Fergie has gained 13lbs for her role in musical movie 'Nine'.

The Black Eyed Peas singer - who stars alongside Nicole Kidman in the upcoming film - indulged in calorific treats to put on weight for her role as prostitute Saraghina.

She said: "I've actually gained 10lbs! No, really - for the film, 'Nine'. Actually, 13 to be exact. I ate everything! Fish and chips. Everything fried - things I don't normally eat."

However, Fergie revealed she is desperate to lose the weight before she weds fiance Josh Duhamel.

She said: "I have to give the bad food up now! So, yeah - I'm in that phase! Back to diet designs - my food delivery service!

"You can do creative things with food though. You know, turkey isn't fattening - you can do that. A little bit of gravy. Or have a nice big salad!"

Despite her rigid diet plan, there is one thing the 33-year-old star is finding it hard to resist.

She added to Usmagazine.com: "I like a good pumpkin pie - that's my favourite - with homemade whipped cream. Whipped cream from scratch. I'll eat it for breakfast, always."

Madagascar 2 Premiere!

What a good-looking celebrity family! (Well, minus Fergie in there, she's not part of the Smith family). Will Smith, his wife and two children attended the big Hollywood premiere of “Madascar: Escape 2 Africa,” held at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood.

Other celebrities to attend the premiere were comedian Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor. Plus, Chris Rock was spotted on the red carpet with his wife Malaak Compton toting along their adorable daughters. What a family affair this event turned out to be, we love it! Rihanna kicks off New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week kicked off in an explosion of style and sounds on Friday as a host of some of the trendiest stars around flocked to Radio City Music Hall for the fifth Fashion Rocks event.

Making her mark was stylish Barbadian Rihanna. The beautiful Umbrella singer looked gorgeous in a black ruffled Monique Lhuiller frock at her arrival. She later donned a glitzy leotard to wow the audience with a showgirl performance. Black-Eyed Peas singer Fergie, meanwhile, went for boho chic with a Gucci outfit featuring an ethnic-inspired blouse.

Fellow songstress Beyonce donned several glamorous looks for her time in the spotlight. Performing with SexyBack star Justin Timberlake, the former Destiny's Child singer sparkled in a Jean-Paul Gaultier catsuit with plunging neckline. Then it was a change of look – with short blonde wig – with a classy Zuhair Murad cocktail dress, in this season's key mustard colour.

Not to be outdone, the stars of the silver screen were also showing their style credentials. Fresh from watching the catwalks was Charlize Theron, casually chic in tight fitting trousers matched with a silver blazer she had earlier seen on the Rag And Bone runway that day.

And Hilary Swank was lovely in lilac in a one-shouldered couture dress from Givenchy.

Fergie performs at Fifth Annual Fashion Rocks in New York

Last year, Fergie was one of the big name performers at Fashion Rocks and reports are all over the place that she’s in the performance lineup again this year. The fifth annual Fashion Rocks concert will benefit the Stand Up to Cancer organization and will take place on September 5 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York. However, the two-hour special of the show air on CBS on September 9.

Besides Fergie, this year’s show will include Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Kid Rock, Rihanna, and new daddy Keith Urban. I can’t wait for the show! It’s always spectacular!!

Fergie & Jessica Alba @ The Democratic Convention

Many celebs (like Ben Affleck & Jen Garner) attended the final night of the Democratic National Convention. Actress Jessica Alba and Fergie were among Hollywood's finest in the crowd. Looks like they are Obama fans. The two looked to be enjoying themselves during the political evening.

It's funny to see them together! They were both spotted cheering loudly and waving their hands in the air after speeches.

Stars Celebrate The ESPY's

The stars were out in full force last night for the celebration of the ESPY Awards in California. One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush (looking stunning) cozied up for a picture with singer Fergie. Jessica Biel was there smiling and obviously supporting boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, since he hosted the award show.

Other stars that appeared were Zac Efron, Kristen Bell, Ashanti, Adriana Lima and Keifer Sutherland.

And you can't forget these two, David and Victoria Beckham, who are pictured below. David did win an award at the ceremony. The ESPY awards will be aired on Sunday!

Hollywood Supports L.A. Lakers

The stars were out in full force for Game 3 of the 2008 NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics on Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles!

Celebs included David Beckham and his nine-year-old son, Brooklyn, Fergie, actors Eddie Murphy and Jack Nicolson (all pictured below). Others rooting for Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Lakers were Spike Lee, Kanye West, Matt Damon, Vanessa Manillo and Tobey Maguire.

Perhaps all these celebrities brought the L.A. Lakers luck last night as they beat the Celtics 87-81.
