Freida Pinto has sex scene in Immortals

Freida Pinto might have done many memorable roles. However, the one she will herself remember the most is the role in Immortals. Immortals is a film which will be shot in 3D. Mickey Rourke is the actor with whom Freida will be seen getting cozy. The director of the film is Tarsem Singh.

The director was very well aware of the fact that Freida had never done any such scene before. This is going to be her first time. Therefore, it is also going to be critical for her at the same time. However, as a true professional, Freida has to go through it.

Tarsem Singh tried to make the situation lighter for Freida. There will be only 80 people during the shooting of the delicate scenes. Around 25% of the people present there will be the crew members especially the cameramen.

In the film, Freida plays the role of a priestess whose name is Phaedra. The film is based on the Greek epic called Immortals. Mickey Rourke, her co-star, will play the character of the King Hyperion, who is evil by nature. The sole aim of the King Hyperion is to find the Epirus Bow – a weapon that is understood to sport unimaginable powers.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to walk the Red Carpet in Paris

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be gracing the Cannes Film Festival this year when she walks on the Red Carpet for L’Oreal Paris. The Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 11 to May 22, 2011. Aishwarya will be accompanied by two other beautiful women from the film industry, namely Freida Pinto and Sonam Kapoor.

L’Oreal Paris and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have a very lengthy association with each other. They have been working in tandem for the past ten years, while the cosmetic company has been the official make-up partner of the world-famous fest for at least 14 years now.

Aishwarya will walk the prestigious Red Carpet on May 11, when the opening ceremony of the festival will be held. Ash had also walked the carpet last year as well. Well, why speak only of the last year; Aishwarya has been walking the Red Carpet for the last ten years without fail.

'Slumdog Millionaire' Real-Life Couple News!

We'd heard rumors that Slumdog Millionaire stars Freida Pinto, 24, and Dev Patel, 19, were a couple. The pair were spotted having lunch together in Israel recently. Now, they have just been outed and confirmed as a couple by Dev’s mother, Anita Patel.

She told the UK’s Daily Mirror, “First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place. Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”

Bond Girl Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto is being lined up to star in the next James Bond film.

The 'Slumdog Millionaire' actress has reportedly been invited for a screen test for the next film in the spy series by producer Barbara Broccoli.

Freida, 24, was first noticed when bosses were casting Bond girls for the last film 'Quantum of Solace', in which Daniel Craig plays the suave spy.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Freida came to the attention of the team when they were casting 'Quantum of Solace'. She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent.

But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel's arm.

Earlier this month, it was revealed Broccoli is also keen to sign up 'Slumdog Millionaire' director Danny Boyle to helm the next movie.

If Boyle lands the job it is believed he would be keen to reunite with Freida.

The source added: "Danny is favourite to direct the next movie, which would increase Freida's chances of a starring role."

Freida has been offered a number of high profile contracts with fashion houses since starring in the film - which won eight Oscars - and is reported to have signed up to star in Woody Allen's next project.

Ultimately, at Kodak theatre in Los Angles it turned out to be day for “SlumDog Millionaire” at 81st Oscar award ceremony, where the movie based on the plot of Mumbai, surrounded around a slum Boy’s tale of rising from rag to riches bagged eight Oscars out of 10 nominated categories.

“SlumDog Millionaire” won award as Anthony Dod Mantle for Best Cinematography, Simon Beaufoy for Best Writing & Screenplay, Resul Pookutty, Ian Tapp, Richard Pryke for best sound, Chris Dickens for Best Editing, AR Rahman for Best Original Score and Best Original Song. Movie also bagged award for Best Director given to Danny Boyle and The Best Picture award also retained by the movie.
