What Are Celebs Doing For New Year's 2009?

Several stars are hosting New Year’s Eve parties in Las Vegas. Usher will ring in 2009 at The Bank while Lance Bass and Denise Richards will party at Prive. Carmen Electra will rock Tao and Fergie is hosting a bash at Lavo. Meanwhile on the east coast, Macy Gray is hosting a Greenhouse party at Setai, Mario Lopez will be in NYC at Marquee and David Schwimmer and Mira Sorvino will appear at Nikki Midtown. Reports are stating that the police are planning on putting extra security all around Times Square to keep the brothers and their fans safe!

Jennifer Aniston plans to toast the New Year in Mexico! The star of the Christmas box office record holder Marley & Me arrived in Los Cabos over the weekend where she plans to spend the holiday with Courteney Cox Arquette, her husband David and their daughter Coco. Carmen Electra's naked 'freedom'

Carmen Electra thinks there is a "freedom" in posing naked.

The former 'Baywatch' star - who is engaged to KoRn guitarist Rob Patterson - has no intention of retiring from stripping off in front of the camera, because she loves it so much.

Carmen - who posed nude in men's publication Playboy magazine in May 1996, June 1997 and again this year - said: "I started my career with Playboy magazine. 1996 was the first time I shot here. I think there's a freedom in taking off your clothes and posing."

Carmen is baring all to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the legendary publication, founded by Hugh Hefner. Her reported eight-page pictorial spread in the magazine is due to be published on December 12.

Earlier this year, Carmen - whose real name is Tara Patrick - claimed she has a "shy" side and is reserved in real life.

The 36-year-old star explained: "Tara is more shy. Tara is more easily intimidated. I do still have that side of me - that soft, sensitive side - and I think that Carmen is the more aggressive part of me."

Carmen Electra Signs Onto Playboy

PLAYBOY ALERT: Forget Holly, Bridget and Kendra. A new girl is back in town. Well, sort of. More than a decade after rising to fame by posing naked in the publication, Carmen Electra will don her birthday suit for the 55th anniversary issue of Playboy, due to hit newsstands on December 12.

Electra first posed for the magazine in 1996 which shot her to instant fame. We think it's actually a good choice for her, she's hot, and her movies certainly aren't anything worth writing home about so she may as well. Thoughts?

Carmen Electra: I am not in a rush to get married

Carmen Electra has revealed she won’t be getting married to fiancé Rob Patterson in the near future.

The couple got engaged in April, but Carmen says she's in no hurry to wed.

‘That’s the thing this time – we’re going to avoid everyone else’s pressure and go at our own pace,’ she tells People.

‘Right now we’re just taking things really slow.’

The 36-year-old former Baywatch actress was previously married to rocker Dave Navarro and basketball star Dennis Rodman.

Caremen Electra: There moments when I am so that little girl from Ohio

Carmen Electra claims she has a "shy" side.

The former 'Baywatch' actress - whose real name is Tara Patrick - says despite her raunchy on-screen persona, she is very reserved in real life.

She said: "Tara is more shy. Tara is more easily intimidated. She's that side of me that was afraid of rejection, that was afraid to take a chance, and step up and have someone say, 'No, you don't get the role.'

"I do still have that side of me - that soft, sensitive side - and I think that Carmen is the more aggressive part of me. There are moments when I am so that little girl from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I cry and I'm just like everybody else. You know, I have all the same feelings that everyone else has."

Carmen - who can soon be seen in spoof film 'Disaster Movie' - also revealed she has always had a humorous side and relishes the chance to show it off in comedies.

She added to Parade.com: "I really get a kick out of spoof movies. For me, it's a chance to show people that I have a sense of humour and don't take myself too seriously.

"A lot of times I was the class clown in school. I've always been that way. If you can't make fun of yourself, if you take yourself too seriously, then you spend your life worrying all the time."

Carmen Electra is engaged

Actress-model Carmen Electra just became engaged to her boyfriend of less than a year, former Korn touring guitarist Rob Patterson, Electra's rep Jill Fritzo confirmed to People.

"He told friends three days ago that he got engaged," a source said. "The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds."

Patterson proposed over the weekend during a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Electra's 36th birthday.

Electra has already been married twice; her ex-husbands are Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers and former NBA star Dennis Rodman.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Carmen Electra's Scarlett crush

Carmen Electra has a same sex crush on Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba.

The former 'Baywatch' beauty, who was rumoured to be having a lesbian relationship with rock star Joan Jett, has now admitted she fancies the two Hollywood beauties.

Carmen said: "Scarlett is hot. Her sexiness is totally appreciated by girls like me.

"Jessica is naturally pretty, she's very sweet. I feel in love with her because she's the nicest girl. She's sexy and has an incredible body."
