Nick Jonas Wants to be President

Musician Nick Jonas is keen to make the move into politics, and has wanted to serve his country since he was a young child.

“I’ve always said that I would like to be president," Nick said. "It’s kind of my whole thing. I’m starting the campaign now.”

The 16-year-old star also spoke about his struggle with diabetes – a medical condition where the body does not produce enough or respond properly to insulin, and which can lead to renal failure and blindness - saying he wants to raise awareness of the condition.

He explained to CNN show ‘The Situation Room’: “I’m here to basically raise awareness and encourage people to continue to do what they can to raise awareness as well in their own circle and on a broader scale," he explained on the CNN show 'The Situation Room.'

“Obviously, we’ve made some advances in technology to better manage our diabetes, but we’re hoping for a cure one day, and that’s what the main goal is.”

Joe Jonas Injures Brother Nick

That's what Joe Jonas gets for showing off. During their concert in Philadelphia this weekend Joe Jonas decided to give the crowd a taste of his drumming skills. To bad for his brother Nick, when it ended with him getting his hand smashed hard with a drumstick by Joe. Way to go Joe.

Jonas Brothers Get Ready For Camp Rock 2

Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas along with Demi Lovato will soon be filming Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam for the Disney Channel. Although last year's Camp Rock scored big ratings, this sequel has a new director,Paul Hoen, and an all new plot.

The played by the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato characters return to Camp Rock, to find out that many of their friends and instructors from last year have not returned, but instead they have choosen to attend the rival Camp Star. The returning campers and instructors include Meaghan Jette Martin, Maria Canals-Barrera, Alyson Stoner and Daniel Fathers.

Camp Rock 2's plot borrows from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Nick ends up falling for the daughter of the owner of Camp Star.

The Disney Channel movie begins filming this summer and will premiere somtime in 2010.

Kevin Jonas Engaged!

Any girls who were planning on becoming Mrs. Jonas anytime soon only have two brothers left to choose from. People has confirmed that Kevin Jonas, the oldest brother, has proposed to his girlfriend of two years, Danielle Deleasa on Wednesday. Jonas told the magazine that he appeared on her New Jersey doorstep, got down on one knee, and asked if she would marry him. Of course, Danielle said yes.

Jonas and Deleasa first met in Bahamas, where both their families were vacationing. At the time, the Jonas brothers were still trying to reach stardom and Deleasa had never even heard of them. "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world," Kevin said. He arrived from Toronto on an overnight flight to ask her to marry him.

Double Standards Just as Strong in Hypocritical Hollywood

The permanently pubescent stricken Jonas Brothers were flashed by adoring female fans this week. If you are not up on the Jonas Brothers, they have sworn off sex until marriage. So what is the worst thing anyone could do to these poor boys?

Yes, the answer is the temptation of female anatomy. In this case young girls held up a sign TAKE US WE'RE YOURS and dutifully lifted their shirts exposing their breasts. God... how can these girls take it so far! It's just not fair to these young boys. Fortunately the boys had the wisdom to cover their eyes.

Here is where societies hypocrisy comes into play. Were the girls arrested? Nope. Security just ordered them to lower their shirts and asked to leave. If a man did this, security would have beat them senseless out the door and police would have been called with charges made. Thank you Hollywood for this one time where you were no different than the rest of the country. Women really do get away with much more than men.

The Jonas Brothers album cover revealed!

When I saw this I just could not resist posting! The new Jonas Brothers album titled "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times" will be hitting stores on June 15th! Jonas Brothers Love Rick Astley

The Jonas Brothers are obsessed with Rick Astley.

The musical trio are big fans of the 80s British singer - who caused an upset by winning Best Act Ever at last year's MTV Europe Music Awards after becoming a YouTube sensation - and regularly cover his most famous hit.

Kevin said: "A big one for us that we sing all the time is Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'.

"Have you ever seen him, by the way? His voice does not match his body!"

The band - which also features Nick and Joe - also revealed they are desperate to win a Grammy Award and dream of touring with 'Purple Rain' singer Prince.

Kevin added: "I think to perform with Prince would be incredible. I think that would be one of the best things of all time."

Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers are looking forward to attending the Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles next month.

The stars - who won Favourite Music Group last year - are hoping to pick up the accolade again and are also keen to get into the spirit of the ceremony by being covered in slime.

Kevin said: "We were almost slimed just by getting hugged by Jack Black when we were on the stage last year. Maybe it's our year. We'll have to see."

Each year, buckets of green goo are poured on the 'chosen ones' - the viewer's favourite celebrities.

The group - who will perform at the event on March 28 at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion - are participating in a contest called Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Jonas Jam Sweepstakes.


Two lucky fans will accompany the Jonas Brothers to the ceremony in a limo, win $1,000 and get a four-day trip to Los Angeles.

Hey, I thought Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas were officially on the outs with each other? On February 27, theaters nationwide will feature Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience. Taylor Swift is a special guest in the movie, I wonder if it was filmed before the middle Jonas brother broke up with her in a text message and she proceeded to tell the world about her heartbreak? Britney Re-Hires Old Assistant

Here's more proof that Britney Spear is getting back on track! Phew! Former assistant Felicia Culotta, who most recently worked for The Jonas Brothers, has returned to Team Britney, just in time for the Circus tour, which kicks off March 3rd in New Orleans. We are so close! PS. Jamie Spears (Britney's father) and Kevin Federline have both signed a document which clears the path for Britney taking her kids on the road.

"Britney has always held a special place in my heart, and over the course of the last year I have seen her work harder than she ever has in her entire life," Felicia Culotta said in a statement last night on Britney Spears' official site. "Sadly, I am really going to miss the Jonas boys, but I felt I had to be a part of this exciting time in Britney's career. I love Britney and missed her dearly."

We had heard that Britney and Felicia had a serious fallout and Britney fired Felicia when she was going through her.. crazy stage. Culotta had been Britney's assistant during the prime of her career. She knows the ropes! Good luck!

Miley Cyrus doesn't have issues with her ex- Nick Jonas

IT seems unlike the rest of us, MILEY CYRUS doesn't have any issues with her ex.

Or his family.

Or just about anything in fact.

The teen sensation has spilled the beans on her relationship with former flame NICK JONAS and it seems everything has worked out perfectly.

Miley said: "I was hanging out with the JONAS BROTHERS at the Inaugural Cconcert. That was really good.

"And we are friends... I love the JoBros."

The Hannah Montana actress was even spotted hugging her ex at the gig on Monday night.

She added: "I love Nicky. I do love him. I love Kevin. I love Joe. I love Frankie. I love all the boys."

Miley couldn't resist mentioning her so-called Disney rivals DEMI LOVATO and SELENA GOMEZ.

She said: "So everyone thinking there's a big feud between me... and Selena and Demi. Actually, I'm going to have meatloaf with Demi tonight. I'm riding my bike to Demi's house. So I'm going to be partying with Demi 'cause we're friends and I love her and she always is there for me. She is one of my bestest friends.

"And so we have moved on and it's good for everyone else to too... so everyone needs to back off the feud, 'cause we're over. I've always been one to be honest."

What Are Celebs Doing For New Year's 2009?

Several stars are hosting New Year’s Eve parties in Las Vegas. Usher will ring in 2009 at The Bank while Lance Bass and Denise Richards will party at Prive. Joe Jonas Gets an Unwanted Christmas Present

Here's a video of the goings-on in the ring of Hell that Dante missed (aka a Jonas Brothers concert). In this clip, Joe Jonas gets a gift that he starts to grab at first (at the 0:28 mark), but when he realizes it's a bra of some sorts, he drops it like it's on fire! He's totally saying to himself, "Ewwww! Girl cooties!"

I also need to slap my eye balls for actually thinking Joe Jonas looks semi-hot here. Why would my eye balls send that message to my brain?! Ugh. I mean, he's a Jonas brother, he's barely legal, and he has a 1920s bob!

Jonas Brothers to make big screen debut

Teens stars Kevin, Joe and Nick join up with little brother Frankie for new movie

The Jonas Brothers have signed up to star in the Farrelly Brothers' new film.



The teen stars will be joined by their younger brother Frankie, 8, in Walter the Farting Dog, reports Variety. 



The film casts Kevin, 21, Joe, 18, and Nick, 16, as musicians forced to care for their sick aunt's smelly pet. 



The trio recently starred in the Disney channel's hit TV movie Camp Rock and are also currently preparing for their own series J*O*N*A*S.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest of The Jonas Brothers, shared a kiss with his girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa while the pair walked across the shoreline at Point Mugu, Calif., on Sunday afternoon. How romantic! Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift Split; Teeny-Boppers Squeal in Delight

Hear that? That's the sound of little teeny-bopper hearts beating a little bit faster.

According to US Weekly, Joe Jonas (of the, DUH, Jonas Brothers) and country pop star Taylor Swift have called it quits, and the feeling wasn't mutual. According to that ever-reliable "insider," Jonas "broke [Taylor's] heart."

Although the two "singers" never confirmed their relationship, the two have been spotted attending one another's shows and even got pretty cozy at this years MTV Video Music Awards.

"He's an amazing guy, and anyone would be lucky to be dating him," she told reporters at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

Jonas Brothers: Rather concentrate on work than girls

Kevin Jonas has revealed that he and his brothers would rather concentrate on work than women.

'We love to date, but it’s almost impossible with our schedule,’ says the Jonas Brothers star.

‘We’re on the road at least 265 days a year so forming any significant relationship with someone is too difficult.’

But if he were to take someone out, would he love to date? 'Cheryl Cole is amazing. I think she's the perfect woman. She's beautiful,' he gushes.

Kevin, 20, and brothers Joe, 19, and Nick, 15, are devout Christians who wear purity rings – showing they want to remain virgins until marriage.

‘The rings are a constant reminder to live a life with values,’ Kevin tells The Sun. ‘It’s a personal thing.'

Jonas Brothers: We'd spend our lives with our biggest fan

The Jonas Brothers have revealed that they would date a fan – despite previously saying it's not something they'd do.

The boy band, who star in Disney movie Camp Rock, say they're all still looking for their dream women.

‘We have already dated fans or girls that are not celebrities,’ they write on their MySpace blog.

‘In fact, we really like to believe that the girl we will spend our lives with will be our biggest fan.’

But Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, Nick, 15 – who all wear chastity rings – won’t reveal if any of them are dating at the moment.

‘It is our rule to not talk about our personal lives, especially who we are dating,’ they say. ‘The same would be true if we were dating you.’

Last month, teen star Miley Cyrus, 15, admitted she had dated Nick for 2 years.

The Jonas Brothers react to Russell Brand

Despite the rest of Hollywood jumping to their defence, it seems that the Jonas Brothers themselves weren't offended by Russel Brand's ribbing at the MTV VMAs.

Russel has since apologised for mocking the pop trio's decision to wear purity rings which show they are saving themselves for marriage.

Nick jonas told the BBC: "For us it's cool to see that he recognises we are gentleman."

He even went on to compliment Brand, adding: "I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O'Brien and thought he was hilarious."

Kevin added that the awards's host didn't 'ruin' their night in the slightest: "We had a lot of friends there and everybody's so nice. We had a good time."
