Nicole Richie's children are quickly following in the footsteps of their parent's rocker chic style.

Accompanying their 29-year-old mother to dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Hollywood today, Harlow, three, and 18-month-old Sparrow where the essence of kiddie cool.

The tiny tots slipped into some trendy outfits for the evening outing.

Little Harlow emulated her mother's favoured bohemian style in a hippie style floral skirt and a blue tank top, paired with adorable pink ballet flats.

Sparrow on the other hand appeared that he was taking on his father Joel Madden's rocker vibe in an all-black ensemble consisting of a t-shirt, jeans and vest.

He paired the look with some skater style trainers and red sunglasses perched on his head.

At one point Sparrow took crayons out his mother's hand so he could draw fake tattoos on his skin, much like his father who is covered in the real deal.

His sister also sported a butterfly design on her arm.

In usual fashion, their mother was the epitome of casual chic cool in a pair of black jeans, a pink lace camisole and bike jacket.

She accessorised the look with a snakeskin clutch, black boots and aviator sunglasses.

Nicole was recently forced to shoot down rumours that she was pregnant with her third child after a furore of recent media speculation.

The former reality star was seemingly angered about the reports and released a statement calling them 'cruel'.

Earlier this month, Nicole and her husband Joel Madden had a brief honeymoon in Paris - their first getaway since tying the knot in December.

The couple have not announced plans to add to their family but Nicole recently told People that she is in married bliss and has enjoyed every minute of her marriage so far.

"These are super-high, but because they have a built-in platform, they don't feel like it. I am not that girl who can do super-arched heels. All the shoes I design have a cushion and a platform.....

Nicole Richie:Nicole Richie has two children, two-year-old Harlow and 14-month-old Sparrow, with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, and she recently banned photographer Fabricio Luis Mariotto from going near her family for five years.

She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in an episode due to air on Monday: "I don't want to prevent anyone from making a living, but at the end of the day, we all have to follow certain guidelines and we all have to answer to somebody.

"At the end of the day, as a mother, I have to protect my children. It's instinctual, right or wrong, you have to protect your children.

"Like I said, there are certain guidelines for everyone. For you, for me, for everyone. And it has to be the same for everyone. We all have to be safe."

Nicole took action against the photographer after accusing him of acting in a "predatory" manner and waiting outside Harlow's school, though Mariotto denied knowing what the Los Angeles building was.

He said: "When I realized it was a school, I left."

Under the terms of the settlement, it is believed Mariotto agreed to sign a document drawn up by lawyers to guarantee he will stay away from Nicole and her family for a five-year period.

In return, the 29-year-old star is to drop her prior court request for a permanent restraining order against the paparazzo.

Miley Cyrus Sets Up Online Auction for Haiti

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus has organized an online auction to benefit Haiti featuring donations from many of her celebrity friends.

"Ever since the earthquake, I've been trying to do my part to help the people of Haiti – and I wanted to do more," Cyrus said.

The auction will begin on Feb. 8 at Ebay.com/Miley. Miley fans can bid on the Herve Leger dress the she wore to the Jan. 31 Grammy Awards and two tickets to the Hollywood premiere of her new film, The Last Song.

Several other celebrities have donated things for the auction. "My mom and I started calling and texting all of our friends to see if they’d like to be a part of the auction," Miley said. "Demi [Lovato] was one of the first to respond. Hugh Jackman was also excited to donate something."

Britney Spears gave the custom made silver Versace dress she wore to the 2008 MTV VMAs and Nicole Richie donated jewelry from her line House of Harlow. "I texted Nicole and right away she sent over some amazing jewelry and Joel [Madden] sent some of his clothes," Miley said.

All the proceeds from the auction will go to the American Red Cross to support the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

"I want to get people involved and show that even the little things you can do can make a difference," Miley said.

Nicole Richie is Getting a Comedy Show

Socialite Nicole Richie – who starred in hit reality show ‘The Simple Life’ with Paris Hilton – has teamed up with ABC to create and star in a new comedy show.

“I am so excited to announce that I am officially working on a television project," Nicole said on her website. "I am creating a half hour scripted comedy for ABC in which I will be starring in, as well as producing.”

“The comedy revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships. She must deal with, and navigate, the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional.”

Nicole recently announced she was putting herself on bedrest after being hospitalised with pneumonia, but she admits she has been inspired by women from all different walks of life for the show.

“Lately, I have been surrounded by many different women of all ages and walks of life," she said. "It amazes me to watch and observe how many different ideas there are about what a woman’s role should be in this era. I’ve taken these fascinating ideas, and compiled them into something that I think will be very special and funny! We’re still in the very early stages and I can’t wait to share more with you soon!”

Nicole Richie appeared in court on Monday to get a restraining order against the paparazzi that caused her car accident last month. During the court proceedings Richie's lawyer referred to Joel Madden as Richie's husband and she did not correct him.

"A few of the paparazzi had become more aggressive...trying to get in front of me, trying to get beside me, ran a red light," Richie said during her testimony. "I was hysterically crying."

Her lawyer Mark Geragos asked, "Did you call your husband?" and Richie replied with "yes."

Richie and Madden are not actually married, but the two have been together for several years and have two children, Harlow and Sparrow.

The accused paparazzi were ordered to stay 50 yards away from Richie and her two children until 2012. The restraining order does not cover Madden since he and Richie are not married.

Nicole Richie has received a temporary restraining order against two paparazzi, Eduardo Arrivebene and Ivon Miguel. According to Richie, these men harass her "on a daily basis."

Richie, whose life has been documented by paparazzi cameras, is concerned for her own welfare and the welfare of her two young children, Harlow (21 months) and Sparrow (6 weeks). Arrivebene was driving when he and Miguel crashed into Richie's car and caused her "severe emotional distress." In a statement to the court, Richie claimed that the two photographers would "scream at me in an attempt to get my reaction, scare me, follow me, chase me in their vehicle."

Nicole Richie, who dates Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, was granted a temporary restraining order against both men on October 30th. Further court proceedings will continue in upcoming weeks.

Nicole Richie is Seeking Medical Attention Following Car Crash

The Simple Life star Nicole Richie was driving a Land Rover when she was hit by a paparazzo in a Jeep Cherokee in Beverly Hills yesterday (10-5-09), and told police she was experiencing discomfort and was going to hospital.

“Ms. Richie was driving with a passenger around 2pm when she was struck by two photographers driving in one vehicle behind her," Lieutenant Tony Lee of the Beverly Hills Police said.

“She complained of pain. Her car sustained moderate damage. No paramedics were called to the scene.”

After the incident, Nicole’s mother Brenda arrived on the scene to console her crying daughter.

When asked if Nicole was feeling alright, Brenda replied: “No she’s not.”

Nicole and her mother are then believed to have stopped by Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment.

The driver who ran into Nicole is being investigated for driving without a license.

“Officers could not verify his identification," Lee added. "He's being physically brought into the station. This will likely be a misdemeanour traffic violation, and the photographer's vehicle will be towed.”

Another adult was in the car with Nicole, but her two children with partner Joel Madden – 20-month-old daughter Harlow and one-month-old son Sparrow – were not present.

The socialite held the bash on the private terrace of the Sunset Tower hotel in Hollywood. She invited around 35 of their friends to celebrate with Joel - who reached the landmark age on March 11.

Nicole Richie reveals she's not working on album with Rihanna

Nicole Richie did not ask Rihanna for help with her debut record.

The Simple Life star was rumored to have got in touch with the 20-year-old singer for some tips.

But her rep has set the record straight.

'While Nicole respects Rihanna and thinks she is immensely talented,
she is not currently working on an album and hence, not currently
working with Rihanna as has been recently reported,' her spokesperson tells Us Weekly.

It was also rumored that Kelly Osbourne, 24, had offered her support to Nicole, 27.

Nicole Richie says becoming a mother was the "best thing ever".

The 27-year-old star - who gave birth to daughter Harlow, her first child with boyfriend Joel Madden, in January - revealed welcoming her first child into the world was a momentous occasion.

She said: "Obviously, the birth of my daughter is the best thing ever. Just in general, it's been a really great year for me. Everything is coming together. All of my dreams are becoming a reality."

Nicole - who recently debuted her 35-piece jewellery line called House of Harlow 1960 - also revealed her daughter is already inheriting her mom's unique fashion sense.

She added to the USA Today newspaper: "She likes to dress up. You can see it in her face. She loves putting on tights and bows and stuff like that. I'm not too caught up in her fashion at the moment. I just let her wear what's comfortable for her. But she loves those tights!"

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are set to marry on their daughter's first birthday.

The couple - who welcomed Harlow into the world on January 11 2008 - are reportedly keen to tie the knot on the landmark date to show their child how much they love each other.

A friend of the pair said: "They want to set an example for Harlow. Nicole and Joel are doing this to seal their love legally. They want the ceremony to coincide with Harlow's first birthday and be one big joyous occasion for everybody."

Socialite Nicole - whose adoptive father is singer Lionel Richie -and Good Charlotte rocker Joel are planning to sell pictures of the ceremony to a magazine.

However, the kind-hearted couple intend to donate any money they make from their special day to charity.

The pal added: "They've spoke about giving any money they get for photos of their wedding to Beyond Shelter, a homeless charity in Los Angeles that they work with. They also plan to give any presents away as well."

Nicole was recently reported to have been inspired to adopt a child after spending time with homeless children through her work with Beyond Shelter.

A source close to Nicole said: "Nicole is seriously looking into it and asking a lot of questions about adopting."Nicole has been visiting Beyond Shelter in Los Angeles two or three times a week and spends a couple of hours with homeless children. She loves being around them."

Nicole Richie and her former stylist Rachel Zoe have ended their feud.

'The Simple Life' star - who reduced Rachel to tears after calling her nicknames including "raisin face" and "lettuce cup" on her MySpace page - was seen happily speaking to the fashionista at a Los Angeles store opening earlier this week.

An onlooker said: "Nicole and Rachel introduced their partners to each other. They talked for 20 minutes about real estate and the economy."

Rachel was little known before her well-publicised war of words with Nicole.

She has since penned a book 'Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty, and Everything Glamour' and has a TV show on US network Bravo entitled 'The Rachel Zoe Project'.

Rachel, 37, has always insisted it was her collaboration with Nicole which secured the star's position as one of the world's foremost fashion icons.

She said: "Nicole is now what people refer to as the big thing that happened. Everything went from nowhere to everywhere. Nicole was about creating a look.

"Because of her fashion sense, which was really my fashion sense, she became famous. It was a huge moment - Nicole became a style icon without being a star."
