The Spice Girls May Reunite (Again)!

Are you ready for this? Geri Halliwell, formerly known as Ginger Spice, has confirmed that she and the other former members of the Spice Girls are discussing reforming. Despite notoriously quitting the girl group in 1998, Halliwell met up for dinner with Emma Bunton, Mel B, and Mel C, where it is thought they discussed the reunion.

On UK TV show "This Morning," Halliwell said, "We are friends first and foremost. Obviously a career and music evolved through that friendship I think. Whatever happens afterwards is a bonus. We always talk about creative plans. Right now, I'll be honest. We are gathering information about a possibility, but I don't like to...when you are evolving a plan, you don't want to share it with the world."

Mel B, a.k.a Scary Spice, has also hinted at a reunion on her Twitter: "Spice girls, stadiums?????????? Had dinner with the amazing melc emma and geri I love them so much (sic)."

The "Wannabe" singers reformed briefly in 2007 for the "Return of the Spice Girls" tour, in which they performed 47 concerts across the world.

Double Baby News: Sporty Spice & Nicole Ritchie

Nicole Ritchie and her rocker beau Joel Madden have announced they are expecting baby numbero dos! The couple already have a 13 month old daughter, Harlow. They aren't wasting any time. We approve. This couple lays pretty low under the papz radar and celeb drama department, it seems like they are pretty good parents! Congrats to the couple.


"What's better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister!" Madden writes on the Web site of his band, Good Charlotte. "God has truly blessed my family."

In more celeb baby news, Melanie Chisolm (a.k.a Sporty Spice) welcomed daughter Scarlet Starr, at 8 pounds, 3 ounces, on Sunday in London, according to her Web site. This the first child for Mel C. and her partner of six years, Thomas Starr. Sporty Spice is the last of the Spice Girls to become a mom, as well!

Ginger Spice Engaged!

Our favorite redheaded Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, a.k.a. Ginger Spice has announced that she’s gotten engaged to her mega-rich Italian beau Fabrizio Politi. The pair have been dating for approximately a month and are itching to walk down the isle! The couple's whirlwind romance began in December and they've been spotted taking trips to Paris and Maldives.

“There are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement,” says Geri's reps. Let's hope they are smart and have a longgg engagement so they can, well, maybe get to know eachother. Otherwise, could this really end up going well? Ever hear of "The Honeymoon Phase," Geri?

Geri’s management firm also said: “We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi. As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season.”

A Spice Girl Announces Pregnancy

Spice Girl Mel C and her longtime boyfriend, Thomas Starr, have announced that they are expecting their first child together! Hooray, more Spice Girl babies!

Mel posted the following on her official website:

“Well, I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy. As I’m sure you’ll understand we needed time to wait for results and tell our families. Thank you for all your kindness, good wishes and support (even if it was based on speculation!). You all know how much I value my privacy so I’m sure I can rely on you to respect that, particularly at this time. I will be taking it easy but am also excited to start writing for the fifth album. I’ll need some time off to be a mum but, before you know it, I’ll be back.”

Wow, what a busy few days I’ve had… it’s been mental but brilliant at the same time. As you know, I flew to the UK with Victoria last week so that we could hook up with the other girls to shoot the video for our new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). It was a really, really long day but I think that’s because we all sat around drinking tea and gossiping like a bunch of old women! We had such a laugh. It was great to be together again and I think the video is going to look fan-bloody-tastic. I can’t wait to see it finished and on TV.

Hopefully you will have heard the single by now as it was played on radio on Tuesday morning. We are really pleased with it and hope that you will love it as much as we do. I can’t wait to perform it for the first time with the rest of the girls.

I’m back in LA now as I’m Dancing With The Stars. I was so pleased with the judges’ comments this week. I was really nervous about the performance as I had such little time to practice but I think the other girls brought me luck. I really enjoyed dancing to Spice Up Your Life. My dancing partner Maks was with me in the UK so that we could practice our routine in-between takes of the video. Although I think the other girls scared him a bit – but that’s what Girl Power is all about.

I’m so excited about the tour and soon we will all be together in LA so we can really get stuck in to rehearsals. It is going to be such an AMAAAAAAZING show, so I hope you’ve all got your tickets!

Spice Girls travel in class!

It is rumored at this time that in support of their reunion world-tour The Spice Girls will be leasing out a Boeing 757 complete with daycare and a make-up room. The plane would be decorated with Spice Girls reunion art work, and be used to jet the girls, their familes, management,wardrobe and make-up assistants, bodyguards, and why, not who ever else wants to come along, across the world for their tour dates. And of course, it is claimed that the jet will be nicknamed "Spice Force One". The eagerly anticipated tour kicks off on December 2 and will have the girls visiting Vancouver, San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Shanghai, Madrid, Beijing, London and Cape Town. The girls will definitely be traveling in a lap of luxury, I don't even want to know how many millions this is going to cost!

Celebrity News: Bono's New Spice Song

The U2 frontman penned the as-yet-unnamed track for the reunited girl group - Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - who will perform it during their forthcoming world tour.

The group's record label bosses were said to be concerned the group's 'Greatest Hits' album - set to be released next month - would not match the success of their previous LPs and believed Bono's involvement could boost sales.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "It might seem unusual with the Spice Girls' pop roots and the much rockier work of Bono, but it works.

"There's been a bit of unease as to how the album will perform and if there's still a solid Spice Girls' fan base out there.

"Bono's involvement has lifted the whole camp and he's delighted to have been asked and add his experience."

Bono is not the first star to be asked to collaborate with the girls on their comeback album.

Last month, it was revealed George Michael is writing a Christmas song for the band.

The 'Careless Whisper' singer is confident he can pen a hit for the group to challenge the winner of this year's 'X Factor' - the British TV talent show - for the coveted UK Christmas number one.

The group's high-anticipated world tour starts on December 7 in Los Angeles.

The Beckham's Take Over!

Get ready to become familiar with Victoria Beckham and her family arriving soon to the United States! She's so classy, isn't she? Her gorgeous hubby, David Beckham and their three sons are set to make the giant move to L.A. and we are excited! Victoria's documentary (NOT reality show, as she claims) called Victoria Beckham: Coming to America is set to air on NBC on July 16 @ 8PM EST/PT. The Spice Girls Plus One Reunion Tour

The Spice Girl Reunion tour set to kick off has some unexpected additions to the group: a therapist. Apparently they want to prevent any of the girls dropping out midway through the tour due to arguments.
It's pretty sad that a group of women not girls anymore need a chaperone for their cat fights. So I guess we can sum up all the cheery smiles are just for show after all I didn't realize Posh's uh new additions weren't the only fake thing on tour after all.
