'Friends' Movie Talk

Let me preface this blog by saying that this story is all just a big rumor for now!

According to Britian's Daily Mail, we may be seeing 'Friends,' on the big screen sometime in the future. Could the six co-stars be ready to take their show to theaters?

I wonder if they saw the worldwide success of 'Sex and the City' movie, which has earned around $300 million at the box office! They may want a piece of the tv to movie pie!

Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox Arquette, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer could be ready to reprise their roles as the famous group of friends living in NYC.

This makes us believe that it may not be true. Reports say that the only worry is that Aniston has gotten too famous to accept the role of, Rachel Green, nowadays. Last summer, Jennifer had said that she will never play Rachel Green again.

Audrina Bares All

According to Star magazine, Hill's star Audrina Patridge will appear in a topless scene in her new movie, Into The Blue 2 (where she plays 'Kelsey').


“The script calls for a moment where Audrina takes off her bathing-suit top for two seconds,” a source tells the celeb gossip magazine. “Still, she’s a little nervous, because she wants to be seen as a serious actress.”

Clint Eastwood & Spike Lee battle again

Several weeks ago Spike Lee challenged reporters to ask Clint Eastwood about the lack of representation of black soldiers in his 2006 World War II epic, 'Flags of Our Fathers.'

"There were many African-Americans who survived that war and who were upset at Clint.... That was his version: the negro soldier did not exist," Lee said at the premiere of his new film, 'Miracle at St. Anna,' about an all-black infantry division that fought in Italy during WWII. "I have a different version."

Lee called Eastwood's casting a "conscious decision not to have any black people."

At first Eastwood refused to comment on Lee's accusations, but her later justified his choice of actors in an interview with Britain's Guardian newspaper. He said that the black soldiers who took part in the battle of Iwo Jima as part of a munitions company did not raise the American flag on Mount Suribachi.

"Has he ever studied the history? The story is 'Flags of Our Fathers,' the famous flag-raising picture, and they didn't do that," Eastwood said. "If I go ahead and put an African-American actor in there, people'd go: 'This guy's lost his mind.' I mean, it's not accurate."

The Oscar-winning director also suggested Lee "shut his face."

The acrimonious feud may have continued when Lee recently responded to Eastwood's comments.

"First of all, the man is not my father and we're not on a plantation either. He's a great director. He makes his films, I make my films," Lee said. "The thing about it though, I didn't personally attack him. And a comment like 'a guy like that should shut his face' - come on Clint, come on. He sounds like an angry old man right there.

"If he wishes, I could assemble African-American men who fought at Iwo Jima and I'd like him to tell these guys that what they did was insignificant and they did not exist," he added.

Lee said the one million African-American men and women who contributed during WWII have been ignored in the annals of Hollywood films.

"I never said he should show one of the other guys holding up the flag as black," Lee added. "I said that African-Americans played a significant part in Iwo Jima.

"For him to insinuate that I'm rewriting history and have one of the four guys with the flag be black ... no one said that. It's just that there's not one black in either film. And because I know my history, that's why I made that observation."

Lindsay Lohan is pregnant....

... for a film role!

The recently out-of-work actress has signed on to star in the upcoming romantic comedy Labor Pains. Lohan will play a personal assistant at a prestigious publishing house who fakes pregnancy to avoid being fired by her evil boss, according to Variety.

"It is a very different role for me and I look forward to the challenges it will present, and I love working on comedies," Lohan said.

The film starts shooting in Burbank Monday and also stars Cheryl Hines, Chris Parnell, Connie Britton and Luke Kirby.

George W. Bush biopic

Director Oliver Stone has reportedly started production on a biopic about President George W. Bush. The film, 'W,' will star Josh Brolin of 'No Country for Old Men' as Bush, The Decider.

Laura Bush is played by Elizabeth Banks, Rob Corddry is Ari Fleisher, and Paul Giamatti and Thandie Newton are reportedly in talks to portray Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice, respectively.

Entertainment Weekly visited the Louisiana set and took a glimpse at the script, revealing scenes about Bush's youth and presidency. The film is, of course, from Stone's one-sided perspective.

"Bush may turn out to be the worst president in history," Stone told EW. "But that doesn't mean he isn't a great story... The fact that he had to overcome the shadow of his father and the weight of his family name - you have to admire his tenacity."

Stone is a button-pushing director whose films include 'JFK' and 'Nixon.'
