I was introduced to a fragrance by A Wing & A Prayer Perfumes by perfumer and owner, Jane Cate for the Outlaw Project sponsored by the Natural Perfumers Guild.
A few months ago, I was reintroduced to A Wing & A Prayer through a friend who told me about a lovely perfume composed by Jane. I immediately told my friend, Monica that I would be eager to learn more about it.
Later, I received a package of samples and the one that I heard the most about was called ILLUSIONS PERFUME.
Jane Cate & the California Floral: A True Story is about scents, flowers and Jane’s love for California that has intertwined into a love affair with perfumery. This is a true story.
ILLUSIONS PERFUME remarkably is made with only three essential oils. Yet, its rich and effervescent aroma seems so complicated. This is why Jane chose the name ILLUSIONS. It fits the description, not complex in theory but its strategic and refined scent appears to be much more in time and preparation.
ILLUSIONS PERFUME is gentle, sweet and feminine.

Roses, roses, roses are everywhere. If you love the scent of a rose, but with a lighter version than those bygone era scents that can be quite robust, then FILOLI ROSE PERFUME is for you.
FILOLI ROSE is part of Jane’s California Scent Collection. It’s a “California Rose” scent, so to speak because the inspiration comes from the legendary house and gardens in Northern California.
After a rainfall you get a rainbow. Well with the scent of FILOLI ROSE PERFUME, you get lots of falling roses that are dewy and refreshing.

The rose garden continues with a vibrant and citrus twist to the rose scent. HONEYSUCKLE ROSE PERFUME is zesty with a delightful play on the rose scent that features three kinds of orange essential oils and a drop of honey for sweetness.
HONEYSUCKLE ROSE PERFUME is truly a wonderful fragrance for a bright sunny day and a wonderful youthful fragrance to introduce to a young girl.

The last stop on this rose trail gives warmth after a rainy and chilly day.
MORNING MIST PERFUME is a deeper version to FILOLI ROSE and HONEYSUCKLE ROSE. MORNING MIST is an adventurous scent with room for quiet moments. It is simply pretty when layered with FILOLI ROSE and wearing it alone; it is captivating and quite romantic too.
