The simplest way to do this is to go to the settings menu, select he video option and select widescreen. You can turn this feature off by following the same route, should you prefer the original format for watching films. Despite the fact the iPad comes with a fingerprint resistant coating, it is also advisable to invest in a cloth just to remove any marks which may have built up over time and interrupt the viewing experience.
