Heidi Montag Says Posing for Playboy is an Honor

Heidi Montag has yet to admit to posing for Playboy's September issue, but she has already stated that it would be a huge honor to do so. "Many iconic women have done it: Charlize Theron, Sharon Stone did it, Marilyn Monroe. So it's a very amazing, well-known magazine. I would love to do it, but I would do it very tastefully. I think you would have to see, if I did do it" Montag stated.

Heidi also goes on to say that she does not think that posing for Playboy would conflict with her Christian beliefs. Her reason why you may ask? Montag states, "I'm more of a modern Mother Teresa," she said. "I would take things with moderation. I think God created the body. I think we're born naked. We die naked. I don't think it's something to be ashamed of. I think the body is a beautiful piece of artwork that God created. I have nothing to be ashamed of."

Spencer and Heidi have had gotten more exposure lately than I think their publicist can handle, but apparently Heidi wasn't satisfied yet. People has confirmed that Heidi Montag has posed for the September issue of Playboy. Details about the shoot are scarce, but "there is nudity, but it's tasteful - she had alot of fun doing it," a source confirms.

Playboy's Mexican publication is struggling, but not this month. This month Playboy Mexico featured model Maria Florencia Onori as the Virgin Mary-on the cover.

Playboy's timing of the release came the day before Mexico's Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe. That celebration came about from an apparition of the Virgin Mary in the town Guadalupe.

The result? 80,000 copies of Playboy have been sold. Now if only they used an actual virgin on the cover. This writer suspects the sales would be staggering. Wedding Bells for Wilkinson!

First Holly Madison and Criss Angel go public and now another former Hefner girlfriend is taking it a step further and has a ring around her finger!

Kendra Wilkinson of The Girls Next Door is engaged to football star, wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, Hank Baskett, according to her ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner, who plans to give her away at a ceremony at the Playboy Mansion.

"[She] has met someone who she would like to spend the rest of her life with," Hefner said in a statement on Thursday.

"I have given her my blessing and will be giving her away at a very special wedding ceremony at the Playboy Mansion this coming June," the statement adds.

Geez, that was so fast. It makes me wonder if the girls were allowed to date people on the side while they were with Hef. Maybe she's been dating this footballer for years and we never knew it! But, this is Hollywood we're talking about, so they could have just met and decideded to get hitched after a month! *Sniff, sniff* Do I smell a publicity stunt in the air?

Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner and his #1 girlfriend are officially broken up. It's over, people! Holly Madison has taken to her blog to explain the situation. Brooke Hogan Posing for Playboy?

It's not a definite yes, but it's not an outright no either. Despite rumors that Brooke Hogan will be posing for Playboy, there is still not a definite answer. The New York Daily News said:

"Brooke Hogan has been approached to pose nude for the famous men’s magazine — and she didn’t say no. The “Brooke Hogan Knows Best” star, 20, could use a boost for her stagnant career. Brooke has posed for [FHM] in the past, but has never posed nude."

At least if she poses for Playboy we can right out call it porn, instead of a "singing career."

New Hugh Hefner book

A new book about Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is about to be released - and everything in it is true. Hefner reportedly cooperated with author Steven Watts for Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream.

"This is the most authoritative book ever written about me... It's all essentially true," Hefner said.

According to one celebrity blogger, allegations in the book include that Hefner has engaged in gay sex and also once had a foursome with his wife, his brother and his sister-in-law.

The book is set to be released October 6, 2008. A description of it states:

"In this wise and penetrating biography, intellectual historian Steven Watts looks at what Hugh Hefner went onto become, and how he took America with him. Hefner became one of the most hated and envied celebrities in America, dating a long list of his magazine's beauties and always standing just barely on the wrong side of decency and moral uprightness."

Jennifer Love Hewitt Shoots Down Playboy

Jennifer Love Hewitt, 28-year-old star of CBS's supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer, has turned down big money offers to pose nude in Playboy. Unfortunately for her many male fans, Hewitt will not be getting back at the recent media attacks concerning her weight gain by shedding her clothes for the camera.

It seems that her retaliation to the comments about her pear shaped and cellulited figure will end at her blog posting where she states "Like all women out there should, I love my body…To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong."

Although she loves her body enough to get in a bikini, apparently her infatuation doesn't extend as far as stripping down in front of America. Personally, I don't blame her, but I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there who will be disappointed that they won't get the chance to see a topless J-Love.
