K.Fed Blames Weight Gain on Depression

Kevin Federline, once known as Mr. Britney Spears, admitted to Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp viewers that his weight gain was due to depression. When asked what brought on his depression, Federline stated, "A number of things between, I mean, everybody knows what happened with me and Brit. I’m not going to say that’s the total cause of it but, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression."

Kevin was Britney's back up dancer before he became her husband in 2004. After divorcing Spears in 2006, Federline stopped dancing and started "sitting on the couch all day." Kevin will be competing with other celebrities to see who can drop the most weight.

Britney Spears' Conservatorship Could Be Set to End

Pop superstar Britney Spears may be allowed to make her own decisions soon. Her father Jamie Spears has been the co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs after her breakdown last year. He wants the conditions of the agreement to be reviewed by a judge when Britney's Circus tour comes to an end in November.

Gossip website TMZ reports: "Jamie can't ask the judge to end it - just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life."

The 27-year-old star's father thinks that Britney is now strong enough to look after herself. She currently has joint custody with ex-husband Kevin Federline of her two children, Preston, three, and Jayden, two.

In 2005 Kevin and Britney stared in a reality show called "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic" and he is now hoping to start a new reality show with his girlfriend Victoria Prince and his sons.

A source said: "Victoria will be a big part of the series. They are not engaged, but she lives with him full-time in his place in Encino."

"Victoria and Britney first met before Britney's tour at Kevin's home. They had a meeting face-to-face, when Victoria was home alone with the kids. It was awkward, but Britney was nice."

Britney Taking Kids To 'The Circus'

On Monday, Britney Spears, 27, officially set the record straight concerning reports that her upcoming two-month tour was in trouble because of a snag over whether she could travel with her two boys. Looks like she's taking the two boys on tour with her!

"Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour," a message reads on the singer's Web site. Her Circus tour kicks off March 3 in New Orleans and ends April 28 in Chicago.

We think it'll be good that she has her kids with her, it'll keep her under control, we hope! No more shaved heads?!

"Britney is so excited to kick off her tour," her blog says. "She has been enjoying every moment of rehearsals and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience again."

K-Fed To Release Work-Out DVD

We're not lying. This could be seriously true. Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, 30, is set to make a fitness DVD! Oh man, this is good! The former back-up dancer is set to get back into shape after gaining quite a bit of weight. He said the reason was because of the "pressure of looking after my children." Kevin retained sole legal and physical custody of he and Britney's two young sons.

Kevin reportedly said, "I plan to get back to looking ripped and sexy again - I know I have let it all go but watch me fly this year."

Sorry, I never really did find K-Fed sexy to begin with! Did anyone? He is hoping to release the DVD in January 2009.

Britney and K Fed's Custody Case Settled!

A Los Angeles court has settled the nasty divorce between pop star Britney Spears and her ex Kevin Federline.

Spears, 25, and Federline, will share custody of their two sons, 23-month-old Sean Preston and 11-month-old Jayden James, according to Spears' attorney Laura Wasser. Spears – who's currently allowed two visits and one overnight per week – will keep her visitation rights.

"I think she's okay with the terms," Ms Wasser told reporters on Monday outside the Los Angeles court. "I think they were each hoping they would have more custody time, but hopefully that can be worked out."

The financial details of the divorce remain secret. Spears is worth an estimated $100 million dollars. The legal saga culminated in the most dramatic of public downfalls when Britney was twice hospitalized early this year for mental health issues.

Spears and Federline, a back-up dancer and aspiring rapper, married on October 6, 2004. Spears filed for divorce sighting, "irreconcilable differences" in court documents.

"The case has been settled," Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told E! Online. "The court still has to approve it."

Kaplan also issued a statement to OK! and said, “At about 8 p.m. PT, a final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed. All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner.”

Both Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (along with their lawyers) are due in court today.

K-Fed named 'Father of the Year'

Las Vegas club Prive has named Britney Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, "Father of the Year."

The father of Sean Preston and Jayden James, as well as two other children with ex Shar Jackson, will be honored at a June 13 party he is hosting at the club, located at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Just last fall Details magazine also named him father of the year, a title he shared with Larry Birkhead, father of the late Anna Nicole Smith's daughter.

Last month Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina, was named "Top Mom" by Mingling Moms Organization, a Long Island-based charity.

Britney and Jamie Lynn's reunion

Britney Spears and her sister's reunion at Jamie Lynn's baby shower reportedly went well and was captured by OK! magazine, which features the sisters on the cover of their next issue.

The two met up again in their hometown of Kentwood, La. last weekend after being apart since last October.

"It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again," pregnant 17-year-old Jamie Lynn told the magazine. "We painted our nails and did stupid stuff, and we had our private time too. To be able to be in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful."

In other Spears' news, a court ruled Tuesday that Britney Spears will receive more time with her two children, although the exact amount of time was not clear.

"We are so pleased with Britney's progress, and we are appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress," the singer's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, said in a statement following the hearing.

Both Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline attended the 9:40 a.m. hearing, as did the singer's parents.

"It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless," said Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline's lawyer. "We are seeing signs of [Britney's] progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin ... The children are doing great."

Britney bonds with Mel?

It seems Britney Spears' dinner dates have been more interesting as of late. The trainwreck star was seen dining over the weekend with actor/director Mel Gibson - but that's not the least of it.

The former neighbors (Spears used to live near Gibson in Malibu) and their families have met multiple times since the singer's second hospital stint last month, an inside source told People.

"Mel and his wife Robin clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible," the source said.

"There's just a handful of people in the world who understand the kind of intense attention that Britney goes through, and how to raise a family with some semblance of privacy and how to keep one's family intact and out of the limelight."

"There are no expectations, there is no agenda. It's simply an act of human kindness – one neighbor reaching out to the other," the source added.

In other Spears news, the singer has been ordered to pay $375,000 of Kevin Federline's legal bills. According to Los Angeles Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, the legal billing is "reasonable" since "the actions of [Spears] caused the great majority of litigation."

The singer will also appear on the March 24 episode of CBS's How I Met Your Mother. Spears plays a receptionist at a dermatologist's office. Her first scripted words are: "Can we have sex and then go shopping?"

More Federline Offspring ..

As if two little Federline's running around isn't enough, it seems that Kevin Federline's brother, Cameron, 23, welcomed a baby girl into the world approximately one week ago. In case you are wondering, the picture above of Cameron Federline is a mug shot taken when he was arrested last year for “illegal possession of alcohol by a minor” and “illegal possession of alcohol by a minor by consumption.” Oh, boy.

Britney visits sons

Britney Spears was permitted a three hour visit with her two boys this morning. It was her first time seeing Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, since Jan. 3.

Kevin Federline's bodyguard drove the two boys from Federline's Tarzana house to Spears' Studio City home. Sources told People that Britney's psychiatrist and her father Jamie were both present for the visit. Afterwards, the bodyguard drove Preston and Jayden back to their Tarzana home.

An inside source credits the visit to Jamie Spears. "The real hero was Jamie. He has taken charge, and she has visitation again."

Attorneys for Federline and Spears spent two days working on a structured visitation agreement that allows Preston and Jayden to spend supervised time with their mother.

"We're pleased that ... the process of reinstating the children's mother as a participant in their lives can commence," Kaplan said Friday.

More bad news for Britney

Britney Spears lost visitation rights to her two sons after her meltdown that resulted in a 72-hour lockdown for a mental evaluation.

In an emergency hearing on Friday, court Commissioner Scott Gordon "awarded sole legal custody and sole physical custody of the minor children" to Kevin Federline, Spears' ex-husband.

Spears' visitation suspension will be in effect until January 14.

"There are no winners here," said Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline's attorney, after the 40 minute hearing.

Spears, meanwhile, is under what is called a 5150 hold, which is what medical code defines as: "When any person, as a result of mental disorder, is a danger to others, or to himself or herself, or gravely disabled." She will remain under observation for a minimum of 72 hours.

Britney gets one supervised overnight per week w/kids

Britney Spears' custody agreement with ex-husband Kevin Federline was modified Thursday. The singer is now permitted one supervised overnight visit per week with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Her attorney has asked that Lynne Spears, Britney's mother, be appointed the monitor of the visits.

Spears was previously allowed supervised visits with her children, but overnight stays were not allowed.

Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini confirmed the new custody arrangement, but he did not name the court-appointed monitor.

Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said that his client agreed to the change.

"He agreed — didn't have to — but he agreed that he would allow that additional time ... provided that there were additional assurances in place that made him feel the kids were protected," Kaplan said.

The attorney declined to name who would monitor the visits, but he did say he believes the appointment of a family member is a conflict of interest.

The next hearing in the custody battle is October 26.

Britney Loses Custody

Britney Spears has temporarily lost custody of her two toddler sons Sean Preston, 2, and 1-year-old Jayden James. Ex-husband, Kevin Federline and his attorney went to the Los Angeles Supreme Court this morning expressing concern over Spears’s recent brushes with the law. The issue of Britney driving without a valid driver’s license this past weekend while her children were in the car was addressed, along with drug and nudity allegation's of Tony Baretto, the pop star's former bodyguard.

It is unclear which offense, specifically, the court-ordered decision has been based upon, but Commissioner Scott Gordon’s official ruling claims that the “Respondent [Federline] is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday October 3rd, 2007 at 12 PM until further order of the Court.” Prior to this hearing, the couple were to share their children 50/50 for the duration of the custody battle, but now Federline will have full custody until otherwise noted. Judge Gordon had ordered Spears to undergo random drug testing and enroll in parenting classes before the decision will be reconsidered.

Brit gets drug/alcohol tested!

A judge has ordered Britney Spears to get twice weekly drug and alcohol testing - the results of which will not be made public - Access Hollywood reported Tuesday.

"Based on the Evidence presented, the Court finds that there is a habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by the Petitioner [Spears]," said the judge.

Spears will also be required to meet with and be observed by a "parenting coach" for a minimum of eight hours a week. The coach will submit a progress report to the courts Oct. 22 on Spears' skills with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The trainwreck singer and ex-husband Kevin Federline were also told they must "engage in joint in co-parenting counseling," and were told they cannot consume alcohol or non-prescription drugs when with the kids or 12 hours prior to their custody.

Mama Britney: The Habitual Bum-Flasher

Oops, she's done it again. Oh man, as if we haven't seen enough of Britney Spears, she shocks us with a (yet another) display of her bare bottom! But this time, it's means so much worse for the pop princess!

Spear's and ex-hubby Kevin Federline have been caught up in an ugly custody battle over their two young sons. This picture was taken of Spears just recently! Wouldn't you think that she'd want to start cleaning up her act if she may have her kids taken away from her?

Spears faces allegations of child abuse and looming witnesses that can testify about her nutty behavior and unfit parenting skills. Brit Brit needs to get that act together and make the comeback we've all been waiting for soon!

Is Britney abusing her kids?

Popular website TMZ.com has reported that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services is conducting an investigation into allegations that Britney Spears has abused her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

In other Britney news, lawyers for the singer and ex Kevin Federline had an unscheduled hearing Monday morning regarding custody of the kids. Dennis Wasser, the father of Spears's attorney Laura Wasser, reportedly asked for a continuance in the custody battle, but it is unknown if the request was granted. Another hearing has been scheduled for September 17.

Finally, Spears was pulled over in L.A. this weekend for speeding, but got off with a warning after she told police she was trying to avoid the paparazzi who were tailing her.

Brit vs. K-Fed: Round 2

Not long after issuing a deposition subpoena to Britney Spears' friend Alli Sims, Kevin Federline's team of lawyers is at it again. This Saturday K-Fed's hard-hitting attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, served a subpoena to Promises, the rehab facility where Spears spent time earlier in the year.

Spears' former assistant Shannon Funk and her former bodyguard Daimon Shippen were also served papers this week in Federline's quest to gain sole custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Brit tells sons they were mistakes!

She's obviously no mom of the year, but Star Magazine has written an upcoming exposé about some of Britney Spears' more shocking parenting moves. Apparently three of the singer's former employees spilled the beans about Brit's less than stellar tricks.

These include giving Sean Preston and Jayden James caffeinated drinks, including coffee, letting them sit in soiled diapers until someone else changes them and keeping them up late so they will sleep in later in the morning.

One source even told Star Spears tried to whiten Sean's teeth with Crest Whitestrips! After he kept crying, Spears' threw the strips away and told him, "Fine, you'll just have ugly teeth then!"

The most damning revelation has to be this one from the unnamed source:
"When Britney is upset, she yells and screams at the boys and once told them, 'You were both mistakes!' She's called them 'burdens, a pain in the ass and the reason (your) father left,'" claims the source.

So is it any wonder that ex Kevin Federline is seeking primary custody of the boys? I never thought I'd say it, but Team Federline!

Brit vs. K-Fed: Round 1

Britney Spears' pal Alli Sims was served with legal papers at 2:30 a.m. Sunday forcing her to testify about the singer's parenting skills.

Sims was leaving a party when Aaron Cohen of IMS-Security handed her a deposition subpoena from Mark Vincent Kaplan, lawyer for Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Federline filed for primary custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James last Wednesday. He is apparently worried about Spears' behavior and believes she is exposing their sons to "unnecessary risks."

Sims recently told People magazine that Britney is "a wonderful mom and she is so hands-on. ... Britney loves those babies to death. And they adore her."

Spears was also at the party with Sims, but apparently did not witness the serving of the papers.
