Britney and Jamie Lynn's reunion

Britney Spears and her sister's reunion at Jamie Lynn's baby shower reportedly went well and was captured by OK! magazine, which features the sisters on the cover of their next issue.

The two met up again in their hometown of Kentwood, La. last weekend after being apart since last October.

"It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again," pregnant 17-year-old Jamie Lynn told the magazine. "We painted our nails and did stupid stuff, and we had our private time too. To be able to be in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful."

In other Spears' news, a court ruled Tuesday that Britney Spears will receive more time with her two children, although the exact amount of time was not clear.

"We are so pleased with Britney's progress, and we are appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress," the singer's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, said in a statement following the hearing.

Both Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline attended the 9:40 a.m. hearing, as did the singer's parents.

"It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless," said Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline's lawyer. "We are seeing signs of [Britney's] progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin ... The children are doing great."

Britney is Ordered to Shell Out Money

Jamie Spears is now going to get paid for being Britney’s conservator. The court has ordered that the singer payer her father $2,500 per week and lease him a car. His authority over Britney was extended to the end of July in a court hearing on Wednesday.

The superior court commissioner has also required Britney to pay $58,800 to the court-appointed attorney who represented her in the conservatorship case. Additionally, Spears must pay $9,000 to keep two psychiatrist on retainer.

More Britney courthouse drama

In another bizarre turn of events, Britney Spears again arrived to an emergency custody hearing Wednesday morning, then fled before the proceedings even began.

Last week Spears also requested a hearing, but after departing without entering the courthouse, she lost visitation to sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

This morning Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline arrived at the courthouse separately, but according to a court spokesman, Spears left soon after in her Mercedes.

This follows Spears' deposition on Monday, a 45 minute questioning that Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, called "gutwrenching."

UPDATE: Britney Spears was denied visitation rights with her son after leaving the courthouse before proceedings began this morning.

"The hearing is over. The previous custody orders – in which Ms Spears has no visitation – have not changed," said court representative Allan Parachini.

"Both sides were heard in court. Notice was taken of Ms. Spears's absence by the court," he added. "She arrived at the courthouse, but (shortly afterward) indicated that she wanted to leave. [Kevin Federline] did answer some questions posed by (Commissioner Scott Gordon)."

Britney Ends Relationship With Adnan

Relax, Relax. Nothing too, too crazy is breaking with Britney Spears these days, but we figured we'd let you know the latest on the pop disaster.
In boyfriend news, reports are claiming that Britney is mad at her paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, because he has taken pictures of her and is planning on selling them to the media. Rumors were even mentioning that Britney had placed a restraining order on him to stay away from her. The two don't seem to be a couple anymore. However, website TMZ reported that Ghalib got in touch with him and and said he is not aware of any restraining order that has reportedly been filed against him by Britney.
In courtroom news, Britney DID apparently show up to her deposition that took place today at K-Fed's attorney's office. Usually, she's either a no-show or hours late for these custody battle meetings. Maybe she had nothing else to do today so she decided to show up? (photo courtesy x17online

Britney Spears Misses Deposition...Again

After missing her court-appointed deposition for the fifth time on Wednesday, Britney Spears deposition has been rescheduled for Thursday. Although her lawyers have filed a motion to be removed from her legal team, they will still appear with her in court today, that is if she even decides to show.

Here’s a video of the pop star trolling around town yesterday, when she was supposed to be in court fighting for her children. She is such a mess.

Britney Spears will finally go under oath

Wow, I think we have all been waiting for this one! Britney Spears is scheduled to report at K-Fed's lawyers office at 10:00am this morning, according to TMZ.com. Let's see if she actually makes it on time. She is reported to be answering questions regarding child custody and spousal support. Britney will have her own attorneys present at the time of the deposition, who are expected to raise objections. The purpose of the deposition is to gather evidence to support K-Fed's fight for sole-custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. It is stated that to avoid embarrassment to Spears, a judge ruled that the deposition not be video-taped. Although, somehow I am sure that info will get leaked out of this somehow...stay tuned for more details. Hmmm...I wonder if she will be wearing her pink-wonder wig!
