Casey Aldridge's Car Accident

Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’s 10-month-old daughter Maddie, was hospitalized in Jackson, Mississippi after a car crash early Sunday morning. We're hearing he was coming back from a fishing trip BUT ALSO more specifically, that he was coming back from going crabbing after a bachelor party.

Reports say he may not have been completely sober after deciding to leave the bachelor party to go catch some crabs. The truck he was driving crashed and flipped on a Louisiana highway, ejecting Aldridge and two of his four passengers.

Perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to say he was drunk driving. Aldridge, 19, was charged with a misdemeanor count of careless operation of a motor vehicle. Police reportedly had to wait more than four hours after the crash to speak to him, due to his hospitalization, but a trooper told E! that they had no reason to suspect that alcohol was a factor in the accident.

An unidentified family member said he suffered mild brain trauma and a "skull fracture around his hairline" that will require several days of hospitalization in the intensive-care unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where he has been transferred.

What is most shocking is ...nothing! After all, this is the Spears family! Britney lost custody of her own children. Spears Women Spotted Shopping

Three generations of Spears women, Jamie Lynn, her mother Lynn, and daughter Maddie Briann, were spotted shopping in McComb, Mississippi late last week. Mom pushed Maddie's stoller through the parking lot.

According to Fox News, Britney Spears is having a private dressing room prepared for the MTV Video Music Awards this weekend. Nobody at MTV is officially confirm this, however. Larry Rudolph, Brit’s manager, has said that his client was never slated to perform. We heard that she is making a surprise performance! What to believe?!?! Britney spent her Labor Day poolside in Las Vegas.

Jamie Lynn Spotted With Maddie Briann

Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted out and about McComb, Mississippi with baby Maddie Briann on Wednesday afternoon. Our first look of Jamie Lynn out with her new baby!

Jamie Lynn was out with her friend and mother for an afternoon of errands. They stopped at a medical center for for an appointment and then went to Wal-Mart.

Afterwards, the group went to lunch at Nyla’s Burger Basket - which has always been a favorite with the Spears family.

She doesn't seem to look like she's having any baby weight issues, she's totally snapped back into shape! What is going on here? She doesn't look like she gained any weight at all!

Jamie Lynn Spears, 17, is ready to show her daughter Maddie Briann to the world. The new mommy-daughter pair graces the cover in the new issue of OK! magazine. That certainly didn't take too long! Here are some excepts from the magazine about what Jamie Lynn has to say about being a new mom:

On her pregnancy: "They'd told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed."

On the delivery: "Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all. I was just talking to Casey. And you know what's so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, 'Yeah.' We were both so excited."

On her new daughter: "She is very good. She'll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I'll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There's no screaming and crying. We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I've worked one out with her, and we're happy going about our little life."

Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge just welcomed daughter Maddie Briann yesterday, but already there are rumors of a possible baby photo bidding war.

A source told the National Ledger last week: "Casey wants to marry Jamie Lynn before the baby is born so he can have some control over the rights to the baby's first photos that will be sold. He wants to be in on any money deals that are made by Jamie Lynn and her mom."

According to reports, Spears' mother, Lynne, is working on brokering a deal for exclusive rights to the first pictures of the newborn. One entertainment blog has suggested the photos are worth at least seven figures.

Possible bidders have not been disclosed, but the former star of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" revealed her pregnancy to OK! magazine and confirmed the baby's birth to People.

Meanwhile, OK! has also officially announced that Spears did not have a C-section as previously reported, but rather gave birth naturally and had no complications. Maddie Briann weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. at her 9:33 a.m. birth on June 20.

Friends and family members of the 17-year-old have been given the new mom their congratulations and support

"She's awfully young to be a momma," said Margie Busby, a distant cousin of Spears. "But that's what they make [grandmothers] for. They have to help. That's the way it is with our circle of friends."

Relative Charlie Spears said he hoped Spears and Aldridge would be good parents.

"It's easy to have them, but hard to raise them," he said. "I hope she's healthy, and I hope they raise a good baby."

The whole Spears family enjoyed a very low key evening last night at Jamie Lynn and Casey's home in Liberty, Mississippi. Everything was prepared and awaiting the new baby who was rumored to be delivered today by a C-Section. No word yet the details of the birth.

Casey and Jamie Lynn are reportedly planning a wedding for after Jamie Lynn loses the baby weight and the excitement of the new baby settles down.
