Albert Pujols Continues To Struggle In April

Three-time NL MVP Albert Pujols continues to struggle during the St. Louis Cardinals' slow start to the season.

Nine games into the season, Pujols has only recorded five hits, one home run and he is batting .143.

Pujols, who is in the final year of his contract, went 0-for-5 in the Cardinals 6-1 win over the San Francisco Giants on Sunday.

The Cardinals are 3-6 and in fifth place in the N.L. Central.

Drew Barrymore Has a New Man

Drew Barrymore has a new man! The actress was spotted at lunch with her beau in LA over the weekend, and apparently they've been seeing each other for a few weeks now.

The lucky guy's name is Will Kopelman, and he's an art consultant and the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman. He's reportedly the "socialite type and a playboy" a source said.

He and Drew apparently locked lips at a Dewar's party on February 10, and then were spotted again this weekend looking cozy. Guess this means things are definitely done between her and on-again, off-again beau Justin Long...

We all know and love Drew Barrymore as a the talented actress starring in films such as Ever After, Never Been Kissed, and Charlies Angels, but what is she up to now?

I'm sure you've all heard of the new hit movie "Twilight" which comes from a novel series written by Stephanie Meyer. Well rumors say Drew Barrymore is going to be the director for the third installment called "Eclipse". They've already started casting for roles in the new movie, yet it still has not been publicly official if she is going to be the director or not.

It may not be widely known but this would certainly not be her first time directing a movie. Drew has just finished directing a new movie called "Whip It!" starring Ellen Page. We've seen what Ms. Barrymore can do on-screen, hopefully she'll be just as good, if not better, off-screen!

DREW Barrymore says she dyed her hair back to blonde – as a way of injecting a bit of fun into her life.

The 33-year-old actress, who has had countless hair styles over the years, says: “I'm going big. It's all about the hairdo.

“I love being blonde a bit more at the moment. It's so much fun.”

She added: “I was so focused on work that I hadn't reinvented my look in so long and I love to reinvent.

“It gives you a whole new attitude. It's a little scary to get out of your safe zone but I love change.

“It's fun and I embrace it.”

Drew Barrymore wants to expand her horizons with more serious roles

SHE may be cute as a button, but her CV leaves a lot to be desired for.

DREW BARRYMORE has starred in some uber-slushy chick-flicks that are more boring than scorching.

And thanks to a mouthy air stewardess, the Never Been Kissed actress seems to have got the message.

The Hollywood star and producer is now hoping to expand her projects with more serious roles.

Drew said: "I remember one stewardess on a plane saying, 'What do you have coming out?'

"And I said, 'Oh, I'm doing this romantic comedy.'

"She said, 'Another one!' Part of me felt like saying, 'Listen, b***h.' But the other part of me felt like, 'You know what? You are absolutely f***ing right.

"I need to change. I need to do other things."

Despite performances in Fever Pitch, 50 First Dates and HUGH GRANT flop Music and Lyrics, Drew has scored a couple of gems under her belt.

She starred alongside JAKE GYLLENHAAL in Donnie Darko and played a teen mum opposite BRITTANY MURPHY in Riding in Cars with Boys.

New Couple Alert!

Drew Barrymore and Gossip Guy Ed Westwick, have been seen canoodling around New York City this week. Both attended the Kings of Leon concert in Manhattan, where they took part in a full make out session (pictured left).

After the concert, they both attended an after party in which Kings of Leon were also playing.

Earlier this week, Drew Barry more was seen house hunting in NYC, I wonder if it has anything to do with her new special someone.

Apartment Hunting In NYC

Charming actress Drew Barrymore was spotted with her entourage in New York City yesterday afternoon. She looks super fierce, what a great outfit! PCM is loving the green suede boots, she's definitely gearing up for fall.

Barrymore is reportedly apartment hunting and was out touring a few places, she's looking for a new pad, it seems! She recently voiced a character in the kid movie, Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

What's on the horizon for Drew? Well, it looks like she's got a couple movies lined up. Look for her in new films coming out in 2009 like He's Just Not That Into You (co-starring Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly and Scarlett Johansson) and Everybody's Fine (co-starring Robert De Niro).

Justin Long pulls out of Drew Barrymore movie

Actor thought to be too distraught to work with his ex

Justin Long is said to have pulled out of his ex Drew Barrymore's feature directorial debut Whip It.

The actor was due to start filming the roller derby comedy on Monday but insiders say he isn't ready to see her.

‘He couldn't stand working with her and not being with her,’ an insider reveals.

‘He's too upset. She dumped him. She was hot and cold. One minute she was in love with him and the next she wanted to break up with him.’

Chris Miller, a rep for Flower Films, Drew's production company with partner Nancy Juvonen, declined to comment.

‘It's bordering on his personal life,’ he tells E! Online. ‘We never comment on cast.’

Drew, 33, ended her relationship with Justin, 30, 2 weeks ago after 9 months together.

Ellen Page, 21, Juliette Lewis, 35, and Marcia Gay Harden, 38, are also starring in Whip It.

Actress Drew Barrymore and comedian/actor Justin Long have broken up according to her rep’s confirmation to US Weekly. No! I loved these two, they are such a cute pair! I thought they were so happy together.

The 33-year-old star from E.T. and the 30-year-old actor have been together for almost a year, dating back to last August.

Ironically, the couple both star in the film He’s Just Not That Into You, based off the successful book, which opens in February.

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long Call It Quits

They seemed to be the definition of ideal match when it comes to coupling up, but things obviously weren't as perfect as they appeared for Drew Barrymore and Justin Long.

The "Fever Pitch" actress and her "Still Waiting" beau have officially pulled the plug on their almost-one-year relationship, with few further details being offered.

"I can confirm the split with no additional comment," a spokesperson commenting on behalf of the ex-couple told press.

Barrymore, 33, and Long, 30, are rumored to still be friends despite the split and will most likely be promoting together early next year when their movie "He's Just Not That Into You" makes its way to theaters in February.

If you missed yesterday's Oprah Winfrey Show, well, you definitely missed one big announcement! No, actress Drew Barrymore and boyfriend Justin Long aren't getting hitched. Sorry, folks! But, Drew did announce that she was donating ONE MILLION DOLLARS to the World Food Program (WFP), which is the world's top organization in the fight agaisnt world hunger. What a philanthropist! You go, Drew Barrymore!

Drew did say this about Justin on the show though, "At some point, you decide who you want to be," she says. "You grow up. You make different choices and changes in your life. This relationship is great. It's healthy, it's productive, and it's supportive. It's full of humor and a lot of fun."
