This morning, a crane collapsed on workers while they were installing a stage for Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour. One person is dead, and six more are injured. James Bond Star Injured On Set

Daniel Craig, the star of the James Bond movies, was injured on the set of the new James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace." He was rushed to the hospital for reportedly slicing off his fingertip. Ouch! That sounds like it really must hurt. Craig doesn't have very good luck when it comes to getting injured on movie sets, he was injured once before on the set of a previous James Bond movie where he received eight stitches for a gash in his face.
A witness on the set said, "There was quite a lot of blood and it was decided he needed to leave the set and see a doctor." We wish him a speedy recovery from that little mishap!

Stuntman dies in set fire

A stuntman died on the set of John Woo's upcoming historical epic, Red Cliff, after an intentionally-set fire raged out of control in an action scene being filmed in the Chinese capital.

According to the Beijing News, six others were injured when the special-effects crew set fire to a small boat, which was then intentionally crashed into a larger boat. The fire overwhelmed both boats, killing the 23-year-old stuntman in the process.

"[The crew] is deeply distraught and full of regret. They are making every effort to make arrangements for the deceased, his family and the injured crew members," producers said in a statement.

There has been no word on the conditions of the six others, who were transported to a local hospital.

Woo was in Hong Kong promoting the Chinese-language film at the time, and immediately returned to Beijing. Red Cliff stars actor Tony Leung and is about one of the most storied battles in ancient Chinese history.

'Hannah Montana' film set accident

Only minor injuries were sustained to extras and crew members after high winds caused an accident on the Tennessee set of the new 'Hannah Montana' movie.

During Tuesday's filming, the wind blew a projection screen into an occupied Ferris wheel, but fortunately no serious injuries were reported. Emergency personnel and law enforcement were not dispatched to the scene.

Star Miley Cyrus has just completed scenes and was not on the set at the time.

"Fortunately, there were only a few minor injuries. Medical personnel have treated the extras and crew involved. None of the cast was on the set. Filming has resumed."
