Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano said after the game that he would send the play into the league for review, while the NFL later confirmed that they were reviewing the incident. For his part, Alosi apologized following the game.
"I made a mistake that showed a total lapse in judgment," Alosi said in a statement. "My conduct was inexcusable and unsportsmanlike and does not reflect what this organization stands for. I spoke to Coach Sparano and Nolan Carroll to apologize before they took off. I have also apologized to Woody [Johnson], Mike [Tannenbaum] and Rex [Ryan]. I accept responsibility for my actions as well as any punishment that follows."

Nolan Carroll Tripped By Sal Alosi:In this news i was little confuse because i have not much more knowledge about this so i get sme information from site and and google service and now i can say that Nolan Carroll was intentionally tripped by Jets’ strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, during Miami’s 10-6 victory against the New York team.
Alosi confessed his sin via a statement: “I made a mistake that showed a total lapse in judgment.My conduct was inexcusable and unsportsmanlike and does not reflect what this organization stands for.”
Nolan Carroll a rookie handled the situation with grace, and showed no form of anger.

Jets Coach:I take all the information from different site and internet media and specially google help me alot for this so i can say that CBS Sports replays showed Jets head strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi stick his knee out and lean toward the field to trip Miami Dolphins gunner Nolan Carroll, who was running down the sideline to cover a punt with 3:11 left in the third quarter Sunday.
Carroll crumpled to the turf with a knee injury. Dolphins trainers tended to him on the field during the commercial break. He limped off the field under his own power and eventually returned to the game. The Dolphins won 10-6.....Read More
