Metrodome Collapse

Metrodome Collapse:As you know, the Giants are off Saturday night in Kansas City and were planning to fly to the Twin Cities thing Sunday morning the first day. It makes for a tight schedule independently, but I understand that the condition of the roof Metrodome has also been a cause of delay.

Typically, operators use Metrodome heated to melt the snow on the roof to prevent collapse. The amount of snow received on Saturday and high winds expected Saturday night makes this task difficult to complete. The NFL noted that “the Metrodome officials” recommended a discharge of playtime

Metrodome Roof Collapsed

Metrodome Roof Collapsed:The Pittsburgh Steelers won a huge game last week on the road in Baltimore, beating the Ravens in the Blood & Guts Bowl 13-10 in a great defensive battle. Conveniently, he has now been given at least 30 extra hours to make another "miraculous" recovery.

Favre has started in 297 consecutive games, more than any other player in NFL history......I take these lines from businessinsider.com

Metrodome Collapse Could Send Vikings Vs. Giants To Detroit's Ford Field:The collapse of the Metrodome's inflatable roof could force the NFL to move its Week 14 game between the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants to Detroit, according to Giants running back Brandon Jacobs.

Jacobs tweeted Sunday morning that Detroit is under consideration because the Giants didn't pack equipment necessary for cold-weather play. The University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium, an open-air field in Minneapolis, has been mentioned as a possible replacement, but with temperatures hovering around zero the teams would need to be prepared for cold weather....Read More
