If you are on a cruise, you should know how to appreciate it and make the best out of it. You can do so by making yourself ready for fun activities on board of the cruise ship.

Plan your activities onboard. Take the time to explore the cruise ship. Go and check out restaurants, bars, gym facilities, swimming pools and internet services. The walk along and inside the cruise ship is itself a wonderful travel and you would be amazed that this is a one-in-all venue that you can enjoy.

Check out the activities on the cruise ship. You can ask the information desk for the activity list so you can sign up for fun activities that you like to do on a daily basis and for the entire trip.

Try to be adventurous and enjoy everything on your cruise. Have a great gourmet dinner in a restaurant or have it on the deck if you wish, go watch a live show Broadway-style or watch concerts. You can play bingo or go to the casino. You can go swimming, have a spa therapy, play tennis, do aerobics and listen to lectures, learn crafts or attend dance lessons.

When your cruise is on port call, you can explore the place on your own or go with a group. Join exploration trips on shore and have fun visiting restaurants, souvenir shops and major local sights of the place.

Grab the opportunity to enjoy good customer service. On a cruise, you are the pampered passenger whom the crew would like to please.

In case you have some kind of seasickness condition just be ready with your medication. The cruise ship has good medications for seasickness and you can always ask for assistance just in case. It would be good to check out the child care facilities of the cruise ship if you are traveling with young children. You can have the option of using them in case you would have an activity on your own. Your children would have fun and would meet new friends. You would also be able to spend more quality time with your partner knowing that your kids are safe and having fun on board.

Be ready to capture happy memories on your cruise travel. You are a tourist and it just makes sense that you have plenty of pictures to show when you get back home. You can take a picture of the entire cruise ship if you want; better yet include pictures when you, family members and new friends are doing activities, having fun or when you are out on port exploring places. A video cam would be a good accessory to bring along on your cruise to record every moment.

When you decide to take a cruise, keep in mind that you are going to take advantage of all the good things it could offer. This is what your money paid for - pampered service, convenience and worry-free kind of travel and an experience you would want to remember for lifetime.

Now that the clocks have gone back and the evenings are getting even darker, it's no wonder many people are seriously thinking about escaping somewhere warm for a week or so. Even a long weekend in a different location can be just the tonic you need to keep going until the excitement of the festive season finally kicks in.

There's no doubt about it - November is a great month to get away. The only thing you have to think about is where you are going to go. Luckily there are some sensational opportunities to consider.

Not surprisingly there are a few destinations in Europe that are popular at this time of year, as people escape the winter weather in the UK for warmer climes elsewhere. Spain is perennially popular for obvious reasons; there are plenty of beaches to relax on and soak up some rays before returning home to darker, colder days.

You might want to take the opportunity to go further afield and explore other regions of the world. Even if you only have a week to spare, it is still long enough to enjoy a totally different country and culture. Take Bali for instance. It may not be the first place you would think of for a November break, but in actual fact this can be one of the best times to go if you don't like crowds. Things will start to pick up once December arrives, so now could be the best possible time to visit for a more relaxing break.

Hong Kong is another good bet for November exploration. It can be too hot to handle during the summer, but November enjoys that nice in between stage that makes it bearable and not too crowded for exploring either.

New Zealand is another far flung destination for a longer holiday. For many, the country needs no introduction, but November marks the start of the best weather of the year. This makes it an ideal time to enjoy the great outdoors that New Zealand is famous for – and there is a lot of it to explore too.

As you can see there are many different destinations and attractions to consider if a November holiday is what you are after. Late bookings can also mean lower prices so you might even be able to get a better deal than you thought you would. Make sure you don't forget the essentials, including your passport, your single trip travel insurance and of course all the little essentials you couldn't do without.

It may not be summer in the UK any more, but better weather and conditions await you in any number of exotic locations around the world.

Vacation stories.

Hi everyone!

Because i cannot found any app to post a blog on my blog i do found a app to edit posts of my blog i will do this everytime, hope you dont mind! I really love it here, so quitely and peacefull (except 2 clowns for the kids on this camping who come every morning at 10 am in a little golfcar with a lot of noise to get little kids to the beach..) The best of all is that i only need to walk up a long stair and i am allready on the beach! Tomorrow my bf Kiki comes till Saturday. Saturday i'm also going home to get my grandma from Schiphol but after that were going back to Zeeland. I will keep you'll up what's going on here!

Tomorrow i'm going on vacation to 'Zeeland' a place at sea in the Netherlands. I will be there for 4 weeks. In the time i am there i can post little posts on my ipod, but not photo's etc. So it will be short posts how i have it in 'Zeeland' and sometime posts of fashion etc. Well when i'm back of vacation i will do this fulltime again haha!

Relaxed and ready for my new job!

I had a lovely relaxing holiday! I didn't really do much, just sat by the pool and read 4 novels (Winter in Madrid, Bluebirds, The Diary of a Provincial Lady and Jewels! I'll post some pics later.

I had a nice surprise when I got back yesterday, the other half had painted the kitchen for me in Laura Ashley Pale Eau De Nil. I'm so pleased with result (I'll post up better pictures later in the week).

I've made a cafe curtain to go over the top of the window using Laura Ashley Hutton Stripe.

I went shopping today and treated myself to some new clothes to wear at my new job that starts tomorrow (eek). I also treated myself to this Cath Kidston eiderdown. I've been after an old eiderdown for ages but you can't seen to find them for under £80 so I thought I might as well get this one.

I'm leaving...

...the reason I went to Worthing the other day is that I went for a job interview and now have a shiny new job! I'm so pleased because it means that I no longer have to drive 120 miles to and from work every day. I'm taking a couple of weeks off between jobs so that I can get some well-deserved r&r. My parents have invited me out to Crete and I think I might have to take them up on their offer - I haven't had a proper holiday since I got my skydiving licence in 2004 and I would hardly call that a relaxing holiday!

On another note, I'm doing a 'photo shoot' with some girls from work so that I can update my site and get some decent business cards and leaflets done. Unfortunately the 'shoot' will be in Bracknell so I'll probably have to do a bit of photoshopping! I'm hoping for some nice weather so that we can do a picnic theme. I thought I could bring along my dotty picnic basket, a pretty floral table cloth, and some pretty cup cakes and fondant fancies (basically things that look pretty!) as props. I think it will be great fun and I have lots of people interested in doing it!
