
Betty White is one of Barbara Walters' 10 most fascinating people of the year, so the host had a few questions for her.
On 'Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010' (Thu., 10PM ET on ABC), the journalist sat down with the 88½-year-old actress. "I'm eighty-eight and three-quarters," Betty said at one point, correcting the host. Whoops. 88¾, then.
As Ms. White will soon be 90, one of the topics discussed was a little morbid, but slightly inevitable. "Do you think about age?" Barbara asked. This rapidly segued into a discussion about death itself, and here is what Betty had to say --
"My mother had a wonderful philosophy. She said, 'Nobody knows what happens at that moment of death.'" Betty then movingly stated that she thinks of death as being a mystery. She added that she was curious about it, saying that when her moment comes, she'll "know the secret."...Read More
