Courtney Cox on Scrubs

Ausiello reports that Courtney Cox will being joining the Scrubs team for three episodes as Sacred Heart's new Chief of Medicine.

In May, executive producer Bill Lawrence revealed that he was looking to stunt cast the role of Dr. Kelso's successor. This news comes as yet another continuity dilemma, after Kelso made an appearance as the Chief of Medicine in the season finale, when he had previously retired and replaced by John C. McGinley's character Dr. Cox.

Cox's boss lady character will "ruffle feathers," said a Scrubs insider.

This role comes as a relief after her appearance in Dirt. Now Cox has a job doing something she does better - making people laugh.

Scrubs moving to ABC

Perez Hilton has posted a MySpace bulletin from 'Scrubs' star Zach Braff, that confirms the show will be moving from NBC to ABC, a move Variety called "one of the worst-kept secrets in town."

"Many of you have been understandably confused by the Fairy Tale episode of Scrubs serving as the series finale. It was not. I was not allowed to say it until today, but Scrubs will be moving to ABC for its final season," Braff confirmed on MySpace. "We are currently filming the 8th and final season. The true finale of the show will air on ABC in the fall. NBC merely promoted the Fairy Tale episode as the finale, as it was the last episode they owned."

The offbeat comedy has aired on NBC since 2001. It stars Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison. ABC has not yet announced when it plans to air it.

The End of Scrubs?!?!

According to Aloma Wright, the Scrubs star, the show is definitely leaving NBC for ABC this season coming up. Although this has been rumored for a while, apparently this is the end. As long as Scrubs isn't canceled, we're happy!
