Borat, Bruno, And Now???

Sacha Baran Cohen went from Borat, a Kazakhstani TV reporter travelling across the United States to Bruno, a fame driven fashionista, but he’s not stopping there. Of course not, he wouldn’t be Sacha Baron Cohen if he stopped there! 2011 brings us with a new character, a Eruopean pop star. He will be a singer who enters the Eurovision Song Contest, an annual singing competition ABBA won last year.

At first Cohen wanted to use his fame obsessed Austrian character, Bruno, but he and his writing partner Dan Mazer thought of just creating a completely new character. A source said: "He and Dan thought it would be better if Sacha dreamt up another character, and the scope for another oddball creation is huge."

But we don’t have to wait for Sacha till 2011…the eccentric actor has agreed to play Spanish twins in a new movie “downsizing”. He will play both brothers who are identical with the exception of the difference in their height. Who knew identical twins could defer in height!!!! The new movie will also start Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep.

We all know Sacha’s style and fearless actions so Spain better get ready because who knows what antics he’ll be up to.

Bruno's Antics End In Injury

Looks like Eminem isn't the only one getting made at Bruno this week. A woman is sueing Sacha Baron-Cohen, claiming that his shenanigans put her in a wheelchair. The incident occurred in May 2007, while Sacha was filming his new film, Bruno. The incident occurred at a bingo hall in Palmdale, CA, where the woman claims that Cohen offensively touched, pushed, and battered her. When she called out for help she claims that three of Cohen's crew members attacked her, trying to provoke an emotional response from her to film.

After the woman was able to get away from the men, she was found sobbing uncontrollably. She soon then passed out, hitting her head on the floor. She was been in a wheelchair ever since. Cohen has been under fire from lawsuits before. The previous ones had to deal with his previous movie, Borat, although none involved physical injury. Looks like Cohen isn't going to be able to joke his way out of this one.

Sacha Storms Runway

Sacha Baron Cohen was taken into police custody yesterday after storming the runway at a fashion show. Despite the increase in security, after he avoided the guards and burst backstage, he also managed to get onto the the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada runway dressed as his new character, an Austrian fashionista named Bruno. His new film titled Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male.

The crazy actor, who was dressed in multiple layers of velcro, was bundled away by security guards and taken to a nearby police station where he was identified.

Male Stripping and Kissing: Sacha Baron Cohen Pranking Again?

Arkansas crowds came out for the cage fight and the $1 beers, but what they got was unexpected. Police said that instead of a brawl the two fighters ripped off each other's clothes and kissing - a stunt suspected of being orchestrated by Sacha Baron Cohen.

Matt Labov, Baron Cohen Los Angeles publicist, said he had no comment on the faked fights. Baron Cohen is set to release a film next year.

"We had a contract for cage fighting. We were deceived," said Dwight Duncan, president and CEO of Four States Fair Grounds in Texarkana, where the first of two Arkansas fights raised suspicions last month.

The day after the first incident, "Blue Collar Brawlin'," was hosted at the Fort Smith Convention Center.

Fort Smith police Sgt. Adam Holland said organizers told him a character named "Straight Dave" would goad a planted audience member into the ring for a fight. He was told the two men would wrestle, rip away some clothing and share a brief kiss reminiscent of Baron Cohen's kiss with Will Ferrel in "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby."

Producers said "there would be a romantic embrace," Holland said. "They said it was kind of to essentially make fun, poke fun at wrestling - two guys rolling around on the floor, all sweaty."

An elaborate array of cameras caught the crowd of 1,600 reaction to the act, which almost crossed the city's morality laws, Holland said. The men stripped down to their underwear, began kissing and rubbing each other.

The audience and other fighters became enraged, the sergeant said.

"It set the crowd off lobbing beers," he said. "They had beers in plastic cups. Those things can get some distance on them actually."

Holland said it took 45 minutes to clear out the convention center, while the two actors escaped through a predetermined escape tunnel.

Those in attendance were told by several signs on display that they'd be filmed, Holland said, and signed waivers before the event. Convention center sales director Karin Hobbs declined to name the event's sponsor.

Baron Cohen gained fame in for his 2006 film "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," where he played a bumbling reporter from the Asian nation.

Baron Cohen is currently producing a film featuring Bruno, a gay Austrian fashion reported featured on "Da Ali G Show" - the same program Borat evolved from. On the show Bruno would often interview unsuspecting subjects in the South.

Bye Bye, Borat

Sacha Baron Cohen is officially retiring the characters of Borat and Ali G.

The success of the former has made it impossible to ambush unsuspecting people, he said.

Cohen created Borat and Ali G almost a decade ago, but the popularity of the movie Borat has made his antics as the beloved characters impossible.

"When I was being Ali G and Borat, I was in character sometimes 14 hours a day, and I came to love them, so admitting I am never going to play them again is quite a sad thing," Cohen said. "It is like saying goodbye to a loved one."

Last January Cohen intimated to National Public Radio that his characters may have overstayed their welcome. "I think the days of me going undercover are probably over," he said.

These days Cohen is busy caring for the new baby girl his wife, Isla Fisher, had in October.

"I try and keep that part of my life separate from the professional part because I don't think it helps people appreciate the work or the comedy or make me any funnier if they know what's going on at home," Cohen told the Telegraph.

Borat Comes to Borders!

Our favorite Kazakh reporter was signing copies of his new book, “BORAT: Touristic Guidings to Minor Nation of U.S. and A. and Touristic Guidings to Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” at Borders on Wednesday in Los Angeles. Check out the silly video of actor Sasha Baron Cohen. VERY NICE!

Baby Borat makes debut

Isla Fisher reportedly gave birth to her baby Wednesday evening. It is the first child for the 31-year-old "Wedding Crashers" and "Hot Rod" star and her fiancé, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.

Publicists for the actors declined to comment, so no other details are known.

On Tuesday, Fisher told Britain's Daily Mail that she will take a break from acting to focus on being a mother.

"There is no way I am going to worry about missing out on work or the pressure to lose weight," Fisher said.

"At the moment I am not even planning any work. As far as I am concerned, I am fully booked up in my personal life and I can’t see beyond that," she added. "I plan on just coloring in books. I’ll focus on that for the next few years."
