The audio of President Obama has been leaked. I wonder what this will do for the loving relationship between the President and the White House Press Corp? For now, we get to enjoy some behind the scenes talk in the press room.
Meanwhile it shows the President is on the side of common sense and good manners, then again, when a press corp member calls what happened to Taylor Swift the "Joe Wilson Treatment" what side of the issue would you expect him to come down on?
It started off with a press pool member asking what seemed to be an on the record question, "Were your girls as hacked off as mine were that Kanye gave Taylor Swift the Joe Wilson treatment?" to which the President responded, "I thought that was really inappropriate. You know, it's like she's getting a award - what are you buttin' in? I hear ya, I agree with ya." Continuing after some press corp joking, "The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person. She's getting her award - what's he doing up there?" Press interjects "Why did he do that?" to which the President continued with indignant disgust, "...He's a jacka--." Which drew sophomoric laughter from some press members. "I'm assuming all this stuff - where's the pool? (laughter) Come on guys. Cut the President some slack. I got a lot of other stuff on my plate."
When the President says he has other stuff on his plate, he means he doesn't want to get involved. Good for him. The press should stop asking 'unPresidential' questions if they want him to avoid more beer summits. It's clear our nation is suffering from bad manners and outbursts. The President has already held one beer summit at this rate his required constant intervention could cost our country millions. That last sentence is a joke.

President Obama Weighs In On Kanye West's Drunken Fiasco at MTV VMA's

It's official. When the President calls you out, you have really sunk to a new low.
According to Terry Moran of ABC News in a tweet he posted:
TerryMoran: Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at the VMA's when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential.
How official a statement this will remain depends on whether Obama wants to go on record or not. PCM can pretty much guarantee you this statement will be denied. But off the record. Wow.
Here is the latest reaction from ABC News when fellow media contacts wanted confirmation:
"In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again."
Obama's Appearance On Leno
Appearing on "The Tonight Show," President Obama made an "uh-oh" during a coversation with the talk show host. The crowd loved him and Obama set some issues straight to the American public like the AIG bonus scandal. However, the president told host Jay Leno he'd been practicing at the White House's bowling alley but wasn't happy with his score of 129. The he rolled a gutter ball by quipping: "It was like the Special Olympics or something." Oh, boy. I'm an Obama supporter but I cringed at that one. Check out the entire interview below in case you missed it!
President Obama Scheduled To Appear On Leno
Holy presidents! In a rare move, President Obama will appear on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" this Thursday as part of his larger tour through Southern California. Bet Jay Leno is screaming with joy, his ratings will probably be through the roof. There has never been a president in office that has appeared on a late night show before this scheduled appearance. Interesting. Obama is hitting the late-night comedy circuit to pitch his economic recovery plan.

According to the New York Times, the Leno appearance is unusual but not totally unprecedented: "Presidential candidates often appear on television shows when they're trying to get elected, but once successful, it is rare to find a commander in chief appearing on TV shows except as joke fodder." The president, who remains personally popular despite growing questions about his policies, is banking on the chance to broaden his audience beyond cable news junkies and political elites. Will you tune in? Tell us how you're being affected by this economy of ours. Leave a comment.
