Hey, Anyone Remember Menudo?

You know, that Latino boy band that jump-started Ricky Martin's career in the 80s? Well, word on the street is that a new musical based on said group is in the works! The group's creator has apparently announced that he is planning on a show based on the story and music of Menudo, which will hopefully debut in November in Caracas, Venezuela. No word if it will make it to the U.S - much less the Great White Way - but we can dream, right?

Menudo Kid Is A Brat

According to People, Carlos Olivero, one of the members of the new edition of the boy band, Menudo, was on a Delta flight when he was asked to stow his iPod.

He turned it off, but wouldn't put it away. Olivero wouldn't comply with the flight attendants requests. Security then boarded the aircraft and everyone in his party, including other members of the band, were escorted off the plane.

No comment from Delta or Menudo has been released.
