Mary-Louise Parker and The Hills' Lo Bosworth are teaming up with Read for the Record to help get books for kids in need. Check out the PSAs below and pledge to read this year's book The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Lo will be signing books in LA on September 2nd from 1-2 pm at the Amerian Eagle.

Weeds star adopts baby from Africa

Mary-Louise Parker, star of Weeds, has adopted a daughter from Africa.

Parker was spotted with the baby over the weekend as she traveled to the Emmys, where she was nominated for two awards.

Her representatives, who revealed the adopton to People magazine, declined further comment.

Parker and her ex, actor Billy Crudup, have a three-year-old son who was born before the couple split.
