Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger fly the flag for Essex show at nominees party

By Georgina Littlejohn

When Essex went posh: Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger enjoyed a night out together at the BAFTA TV Awards nominees party at Coutts bank last night

They have become the most talked about celebrity couple after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this year.

So with the absence of Kate and William at last night's Bafta nominees party, who better to send along than Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger.

But this time, without the rest of the cast joining them en masse, the betrothed couple were able to have a night out alone.

Of course, they were there to represent their fellow Essexians, after the show was nominated for the BAFTA YouTube Audience Award.

Mark and Lauren, who have been dating on-and-off for the past decade, arrived at the nominees party at Coutts & Co headquarters on the Strand last night.

Lauren looked gorgeous in an asymmetrical long black dress, which a sexy split up her left thigh and a diamante decorated hole on her left hip.

Mark looked equally as sexy in a light grey suit, as he proudly held his fiancée close to him.

And he didn't let go of her all night as they mingled with fellow nominees.

They also made the most of their night alone with a romantic dinner at Hakkasan in Mayfair.

Not letting go: Mark didn't stray to far from his gorgeous fiancée all night and kept his arm around her for most of the evening

It was nice to see them so close after recent events left The Only Way Is Essex viewers wondering if Lauren had had enough of her party boy husband-to-be.

In the last episode of the reality TV show, the pair had a huge row at the pool party to celebrate the end of the series, before Lauren pushed Mark in the swimming pool and then angrily walked away.

But they soon put paid to rumours that they had called their engagement off following a dramatic argument shown on-screen last night, by arriving hand-in-hand and smiling broadly.

United front: Lauren and Mark soon kissed and made up after their poolside row during the TOWIE finale

TOWIE's Sam and Billie launch their boutique Minnie's... but Jessica Wright steals the show in sexy knee socks

By Andrea Magrath

Sister Act: Sam and Billie Faiers are hosting the launch of their boutique Minnie's in Brentwood tonight

The stars of The Only Way Is Essex have had a one-stop shop to stock up on everything they need for a night at the Sugar Hut since Sam and Billie Faiers opened their Brentwood boutique this season.

And now the sisters have opened Minnie's boutique up to everyone else, and celebrated the public opening in (Essex) style with a party tonight.

The blonde beauties dressed up for their big launch, but even their spring frocks were overshadowed by co-star Jessica Wright's sexy schoolgirl knee socks.

The recently surgically-enhanced singer arrived for the party early, and ensured she was the centre of attention in a white dress with pussybow tie neck and a very short hemline.

Jessica drew attention away from her recent breast enlargement by wearing a pair of provocative socks with her towering nude heels.
Sam, 20, looked elegant in a cream and lace dress with her hair in a top bun.

Schoolgirl sexy: Their co-star Jessica Wright showed off her legs in a very short dress and knee socks

Sister Billie, who joined Sam on the reality show this season, wore a billowing hot pink maxi dress.

The Faiers girls have often been filmed working in their Essex store during season two, Billie providing a shoulder for Sam to cry on over her love life as they take stock of their designer labels.

Minnie's was the scene of Sam's recent fall-out with Mark Wright when he criticised her romance with Joey Essex, and even played host to Lydia's pig Mr Darcy who christened the shop floor during the opening party.

Fun day out: The girls took a break from getting their shop up and running yesterday to celebrate co-star kirk's birthday at the fair

The girls are stocking labels Armand Basi, Maggie + Me, Love Soni, D-Brand, Siren, Delicious Couture & London Rebel Footwear - all of which are worn by the cast on the show.

Fans of the series will be able to dress in the Essex girl style can shop at Minnie's from this Saturday.

Perhaps they will catch a glimpse of Sam's new boyfriend Joey Essex hanging around the Brentwood store. He and Sam appear to have stepped up their romance of late, and shared a tent while the gang went 'glam-ping' on last night's episode.

'This is true love': TOWIE's Lauren Goodger comes forward to insist (again) that engagement to Mark Wright is the real thing

By Sarah Bull

True love: The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger insisted her love for fiancé Mark Wright is the real thing after posting a picture of the couple on Twitter

Lauren Goodger has come forward to insist her engagement to Mark Wright is the real thing, and their relationship is 'true love'.

The Only Way Is Essex star has been forced to contend with reports that Mark's proposal, which featured on the ITV2 show, was solely for the programme and claims the pair have already filmed their break-up.

However, Lauren says she has no intention of ever splitting from promoter Mark, and forsees a happy future for the couple.

She said: 'We've got an amazing future and I'm really happy. We've shown everyone for real that it's me he wants. It's true love.

'Mark would never propose just for the show. Now we're back together and people think "poor Lauren", that he's cheated. But actually he hasn't. We have great banter and we love all the same things. We're just right for each other.'

And Lauren also spoke about reports Mark hasn't fully left his playboy past behind him, insisting her fiancé would never cheat on her.

She said: 'It's easy for people to get confused about who he's seeing and who he isn't

Noble steed: Mark and best friend Arg arrived at the engagement party on horseback in scenes shown on the programme last night

All white on the night: Lauren wore a sequinned white dress to the party

'But as far as I know, when he's seeing these other girls, we've broken up. I don't think Mark is a cheater, I think we have just broken up a lot.'

However, things aren't always so smooth for the couple, as Lauren was seen launching an attack on last night's episode after Mark asked ex Sam Faiers to work with him on his new modelling agency.

Threatening to miss her and Mark's engagement party after hearing about Mark and Sam's lunch through Amy Childs' salon employee Paloma, Lauren eventually turned up at the event, although warned Mark, 'I've not forgotten about what happened.'

But later on, Mark proved his love for Lauren as he broke down during an emotional speech at the engagement party.

Weight battle: Lauren, seen here with a friend last week, said she is constantly struggling to maintain her slim figure

Attempting to tell his family and friends exactly how he feels about his fiancée, Mark ended up in tears, before admitting to the crowd: 'I don't know what's going on, why am I getting emotional?'

However, his rare public display of affection was enough for Lauren, who quickly bounded up on stage and gave her man a hug.

Lauren and Mark will have to contend with disapproval from Mark's family before they get married, as Mark's mother admitted at the party she wouldn't believe the pair will wed until they walk down the aisle.

Lauren, 24, also spoke about her battle with her weight ahead of her wedding day, saying she is struggling to maintain her newly-slim figure after shedding the pounds.

She told the Daily Star: 'I'm one of those people who loses weight quickly but puts it on just as quickly. If I train and eat healthily you can notice, but if I drink and eat rubbish you notice.

'I'm being healthy now though, so I'm much more toned and I feel so much more confident in a bikini.'

Not ready for her close up: The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger steps out make-up free

By Daily Mail Reporter

Natural: The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger is spotted without a scrap of make-up today

The golden rule of Essex - if the cast of the show based on some of its inhabitants are to believed - is to never step out of the house without fake tan, fake eyelashes and fake nails in place.

But star of The Only Way Is Essex Lauren Goodger appeared to break the style laws of Brentwood today when she stepped out today without a scrap of make-up.

The 23-year-old looked tired and dishevelled as she left fiancé Mark Wright's house to prepare for a day of filming for the ITV2 show.

Wearing a tight black top, Lauren was pale-faced without her usual heavy make-up, as she got into her car.

Her downcast appearance could be down to the reality star feeling unwell. She tweeted last night: 'Been filming with bad bad flu was hard 2day and yesterday I cant wait 2 shift this!!! 7.30am start 2moro.'

Or perhaps the ending of last night's episode left a sour taste in her mouth, as it showed Mark, 23, watching - somewhat creepily - as his former love interest Sam had a steamy kiss with another cast member Joey in the pool after a party.

Heading to work: The 23-year-old left her fiancé Mark Wright's house to start filming the ITV2 reality show

Despite Mark telling Sam in the first episode of season two that he was moving on from her in order to 'make a go of things' with Lauren, he appeared forlorn as he watched her move on too.

Pictures also emerged of Mark yesterday on a beach in Miami ogling scantily-clad sunbathers.

Lauren was scheduled to appear at a book signing with other members of the cast this afternoon at Lakeside shopping centre, but had to pull out when she was told she had to film all day.

Barely recognisable: Lauren looks completely different without her usual face full of heavy make-up

Jessica Wright, Lydia Bright, Lauren Pope and Kirk Norcross will be greeting fans and signing copies of their book, The Official Guide to Living Life the Essex Way, but the show's main stars Mark, Sam and Amy are not expected to attend.

In last night's episode of the show viewers saw Lauren and Mark visit dog kennels in search of a new puppy.

Lauren was filmed telling an unenthusiastic Mark that he either had to give her 'a dog or a baby.'

But no decisions were made as both appeared terrified of even the smallest of puppies.

Glamorous: Fans of the reality show are more used to seeing the fake-tanned cast dressed up in their Essex best

Get set for another Essex love triangle! Sam Faiers and Joey Essex share steamy pool kiss

By Andrea Magrath

Steamy: Sam Faiers and Joey Essex share a kiss in the pool in an upcoming episode of The Only Way Is Essex

With local lothario Mark Wright off the market, the ladies of Essex were bereft without a perma-tanned playboy to fight over.

Step up, Joey Essex - the super-quiffed, more orange version of Wright- who has quickly struck up romances with two of the former's exes since joining The Only Way Is Essex this season.

After he was shown trying his charm on Lucy Mecklenburgh in recent episodes, the real-life Ken doll will get hot and heavy in a pool with Sam Faiers in an episode this week.

In a sneak peek to be aired at the end of tonight's episode, the pair will share a steamy embrace in skimpy swimwear.

The club promoter lusted after Lucy, 19, in the first episode of season two, but she rejected his advances, wisely, after he admitted that he doesn't know who the prime minister is.

After the dejected 20-year-old witnessed Lucy leaving a night out with Kirk Norcross, he turned his eye to Sam, another former love interest of Mark's.

Love triangle: the perma-tanned playboy has been spotted on dates with Sam and Lucy Mecklenburgh in the past fortnight

The pair began flirting, much to Mark's chagrin, who said the glamour model was only showing interest in Joey to make him jealous.

Joey has since been spotted on dates with both Lucy and Sam, 20, in the past fortnight, cementing his place as the new local heartbreaker.

But Lucy may be surprised to know that while Joey sets his sights on her first on camera, his flirtation with Sam actually goes back to February.

History: Lucy may be surprised to know that Sam and Joey were actually first spotted together back in early February, and also enjoyed a flirtatious night out along with her sister Billie last month

The pair were spotted leaving a London's Revolution bar together in early February, weeks before filming commenced on the second season.

And late last month Sam and Joey were spied drinking and dancing the night away with her sister Billie, another new addition to the show, at Sugar Hut in Brentwood.

The following morning Billie hinted at a romance on her Twitter page, writing : 'Samantha Faiers and Joey Essex = Mr and Mrs Essex!' adding a 'wink'.
