Mark Wahlberg's Britney blast

Mark Wahlberg doesn't want his daughter to look up to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

The 37-year-old actor - who has a five-year-old daughter Ella Rae, two-year-old son Michael and nine-week-old baby boy Brendan Joseph with fiancee Rhea Durham - wants to move away from Hollywood because there are no positive role models for his children.

He said: "We won't stay in Hollywood forever because it's very difficult to raise normal kids in an environment like that. And I was thinking there are no real role models for girls. You've got Britney Spears, you've got Paris Hilton - they're nice enough people but I don't want my daughter to aspire to be like that."

Mark - who can currently be seen starring in action thriller 'Max Payne', in which he plays a man attempting to avenge the deaths of his wife and baby daughter - also revealed he is more worried about being a good father than maintaining a successful acting career.


He added to The Journal newspaper: "I'm much more concerned with being a good dad and being there for them and teaching them and hopefully helping them avoid some of the mistakes that I've made."

Couple will tie the knot next summer

Mark Wahlberg and his fiancée Rhea Durham have announced they are to wed.

The couple have 3 children but have previously said marriage wasn't important to them.

‘We're talking about getting married in August,’ Mark, 37, said at a press conference for new film Max Payne. ‘It's a good month.’

He and Rhea, 30, are parents to Brendan, 5 weeks, Ella, 5, and Michael, 2.

Max Payne hits cinemas on 14 November.

Our favorite Wahlberg brother was spotted grabbing some lunch with a friend at the Beverly Glen Deli in Beverly Hills. He's may have been celebrating the birth of a new baby!

According to reports, Walhberg's financee Rhea Durham gave birth last Tuesday to a healthy baby boy, with the couple not yet releasing the name of their newborn son.

Mark is also currently in the midst of working on the upcoming action flick “Max Payne." It's hitting theaters on October 17th and follows “a DEA agent (Wahlberg) whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin (Mila Kunis) out to avenge her sister’s death.” Sounds pretty cool - Wahlberg is great in those crime thrillers!

Three's company for The Departed actor Mark Wahlberg and his beautiful fiancée Rhea Durham, who are celebrating the birth of their new baby.

The baby boy, whose name has not yet been announced, came into the world on Tuesday in Los Angeles. It's the second son for the happy couple, who are already the parents of daughter Ella, four, and two-year-old Michael.

The handsome 37-year-old, whose older brother, Donnie, is currently enjoying success with reformed band New Kids On The Block, is clearly in his element in his role as dad in his busy household, which he describes as "hectic at times, but a lot of fun".

And the latest member of the family may not be the last, revealed the Oscar-nominated star. "When the kids are good, we want eight or nine," he said before quipping: "When they're bad, we want to stop at three."

Mark Wahlberg plans wedding post third baby

Mark Wahlberg is planning to marry his longtime girlfriend, Rhea Durham, in summer of 2009. The couple have two children together and are expecting a third in September.

"She wants to wait until after the baby," the 37-year-old actor told People. We've been very fortunate. We've waited and worked hard to really strengthen our relationship. We want it right.

"We're ready. I'm ready. She's been ready, but I think you know, we both come from broken homes and we want to succeed," he said of the 29-year-old Durham.

The couple have not finalized the wedding details, but Wahlberg said his four- and two-year-old children will be the flower girl and ringbearer if they want.

"... It's going to be a beautiful occasion," Wahlberg said Thursday at the Boston screening of his film The Happening. "Very intimate."

Wahlberg, 36, and longterm partner Durham, 29, have yet to go public with their news - but the Boogie Nights star has reportedly told friends he is expecting a son, due in September.

A friend close to the star tells U.S. magazine OK!, "Mark is thrilled to be having another baby. He is an amazing dad, and his two children are his world.

"He always used to joke about wanting at least a dozen kids, but it looks like he wasn't joking after all."

Wahlberg and Durham - who have been dating since 2001 - are already parents to daughter Ella Rae, four, and two-year-old son Michael.
