Greeted by trumpeters and set against the whimsical backdrop of the MacKenzie-Childs boutique, a festive crowd received an early start to the festive holiday season with Southampton Hospital. Hosted by the 2011 Summer Party Chair Jean Shafiroff, guests enjoyed gourmet bites and cocktails while browsing the boutique’s chic home designs. The success of the event was a continuation of Jean’s record-breaking fundraising efforst for the 2010 Summer Gala, which this yearsupported the operations of Southampton Hospital’s recently opened Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department. The 2011 Summer Gala will be held on August 6, 2011.
