"Spiderman 4" Cast Coming Together

Kirsten Dunst, as Mary Jane Watson, is the latest to sign back onto the franchise for “Spider-Man 4.” The star will rejoin director Sam Raimi and star Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker’s love interest in the latest installment in the popular superhero franchise, which is slated for May 6, 2011. However, don’t expect wedding bells for Mary Jane and Peter, Black told The New York Post. At the end of “Spider-Man 3,” the two had an emotional, but although very ambiguous, reunion after the film’s events drove the lovers apart.

Additionally, Black hinted at the film’s villain, shooting down online rumors that pegged comic book character Morbius, the Living Vampire, as the latest member of Spidey’s nemeses. Instead, the producer told the Post that the villain had a significant connection to the Big Apple. “We’re just coming up with who the villain is now,” he said. “We’ll be shooting in New York again. Trust me, people will appreciate who we pick, because it’ll be a big part of New York.” So gear up for another chapter of everyone's friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

Kirsten Dunst's depression confession

Kirsten Dunst became depressed because she was "dependent on other people's approval".

The 'Spider-Man' actress checked into Utah's Cirque Lodge treatment facility - which counts Lindsay Lohan and Eva Mendes among its former patients - in February to be treated for depression, which she claims was brought on by her need to please others.

She said: "When you spend your entire life as a child actress, being told where to go and where to stand, you're performing constantly for people. It definitely breeds the kind of person who's dependent on other people's approval.

"If I'd trusted myself and listened to myself all the times that I ignored myself, I would have been fine. But everyone has to learn their lesson, and now I've got it."

The 26-year-old star, who was treated at the facility for several weeks, is now feeling "great" but is wary of talking about her experience too much.
She explained to America's Harper's Bazaar magazine : "I'm great. I don't want to go into too much detail because I give a quote and then it's blogged about for the rest of my life on the internet."

The actress also laughed off rumours she is dating Drew Barrymore's ex-boyfriend Justin Long, claiming she barely even knows him.

She said: "Those rumours are the funniest thing on planet Earth. I don't know him from Adam. I met him once and he and his friend were kind enough to walk me home. I've never seen him since."

Actress: Kirsten Dunst's wants to star in 'Spider-Man4'

Kirsten Dunst wants to star in 'Spider-Man 4'.

The actress - who plays Peter Parker's love interest Mary-Jane Watson in the superhero series - is prepared to reprise her role if director Sam Raimi and her co-star Tobey Maguire agree to another instalment.

She said: "I feel as thought the third film is the end of a chapter for the 'Spider-Man' franchise but I'm willing to explore a fourth one if Sam and Tobey are on board."

If a fourth movie does get the go-ahead, Kirsten will have no problem wearing a padded bra again like she did in the other films.

The 26-year-old star added: "It's part of the role. MJ is more voluptuous than I am. I had to wear a padded bra but I didn't feel it was sexist. I embraced my MJ boobs!"

Justin Long on the Rebound with Kirsten Dunst?

Has Drew Barrymore’s ex already moved on?

On Wednesday morning--just two weeks after his split with the Charlie’s Angels star--former Mac spokesman Justin Long was spotted hanging out with Kirsten Dunst, according to OK! magazine.

“Justin was holding Kirsten’s hand while walking around downtown NYC in the SoHo area,” an eyewitness tells the magazine. “They stayed out all night and Kirsten was all over him and kept leaning in to kiss him.”

A friend of Long’s told OK! the stars are longtime close friends and the 26-year-old actress is just consoling her buddy after his breakup from Barrymore.

Adds a Dunst pal: “She’s always had a bit of a crush on Justin.”

For his part, maybe Long has a thing for former child stars.

Reps for Dunst and Long couldn’t be immediately reached.

Kirsten Dunst talks about rehab

Kirstin Dunst opened up to E! Online's Marc Malkin about her February trip to Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah.

"I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse," Dunst said during filming for her new movie, All Good Things. "I went there for depression."

At the time, the actress's partying and drinking habits were topics of debate and tabloid fodder.

"She does drink and she does have wild nights, but that was never the root of her issues," a source close to Dunst told People. "She couldn't control her depression."

The 26-year-old actress said it was ultimately her decision to seek treatment, although she did receive advice from doctors, friends and family.

"It was a good six months before I decided to go away," she said. "I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn't know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge."

Dunst said she decided to reveal the information because of the speculation and negative press she has received.

"There's been a lot of misrepresentation about what is going on in my life, and it's been very painful for my friends and family," she said. "Everyone feels like they have to defend me. They hear the rumors, and it puts them in a defensive position. Now that I'm feeling stronger, I was prepared to say something."

She also said that depression can affect anyone, even wealthy starlets. Dunst has been acting since 1989 and has received media attention since 1994's Interview with the Vampire with Tom Cruise.

"We're all in the same boat together," Dunst said about people suffering from mental illness. "Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about."

Kirsten Takes A Break From Rehabbin'

What is a starlet in distress to do when she wants a little break from 'hard living' at the Cirque Lodge in Utah? Take a trip to everyone's favorite store Target, obviously!

Some paparazzi snapped some pictures of the casual and comfortable Dunst perusing the ailes at the fabulous super store this weekend, for a little dose of retail therapy. After the trip her and a fellow male rehabber were feeling the 'Yo quiero Taco Bell' rush and stopped by for a little weekend treat.

Kirsten Dunst is in rehab

Kirsten Dunst is the latest celebrity to enter rehab at Utah's Cirque Lodge Treatment Center. Eva Mendes also recently checked in, and Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen were past patients.

A source close to the party-girl actress confirmed to People that Dunst, 25, has indeed entered rehab.

When she attended the recent Sundance Film Festival, she reportedly displayed erratic behavior, and the following day she was a no-show to her own Glamour magazine party.

According to an inside source, this behavior continued when she checked in to Cirque. "She desperately needed help. She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. She is not in a good place right now, but, thankfully, she’s getting the help she needs."

Representatives for the actress could not be reached for comment.
