Paris Hilton’s Mom Thinks McCain Ad Is Waste of Country’s Time

Kathy Hilton might be chJohn McCain’s anging her vote after ad poked fun at her daughter, likening Barack Obama to the heiress.

“It is a complete waste of the country’s time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs,” Paris Hilton’s mom told the Huffington Post. “And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next president of the United States.”

However, McCain camp maintains the ad is all in good fun.

The Presidential hopeful denied that his campaign had taken a negative turn, saying, “We think it’s got a lot of humor in it, we’re having fun and enjoying it.”

But Kathy Hilton isn’t convinced and calls the ad “a complete waste of the money John McCain’s contributors have donated to his campaign.”

Kathy Hilton and her husband donated a total of $4,600 to McCain’s campaign earlier this year.

Kathy Hilton Says Jail Will Make Paris A Better Person

Paris Hilton's mother Kathy is adament her daughter will emerge from her 23-day prison term "a better person", and is doing everything she can to support the jailed heiress. The Simple Life star began her jail term at the Century Regional Detention Center on Sunday night, after violating her probation following a 2006 drink-driving arrest.
And while Kathy Hilton was fighting back the tears as she accompanied the 26-year-old to jail at the weekend, she is confident Paris will learn from her mistakes.
Hilton's publicist Elliot Mintz tells the New York Post, "Kathy is very emotional. She wanted to exhibit strength for her daughter. She thought it was the most important thing to do. She thinks Paris will emerge from this a better person."
