Nikki Blonsky Arrested!

Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky and her father were arrested Wednesday after fighting with a woman at Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos.

A staffer at the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force confirmed their arrests to Us Weekly.

Nikki has been busy recording her debut album. She's compared it to sounding like a mix of Stevie Nicks, Melissa Etheridge, and Sheryl Crow meets a little Linda Eder.

She added, “Unlike a movie, it’s not written for you, so I want to make sure it’s something that really comes from my heart. When I’m ready to release it, you bet I’ll be releasing it in style.”

Apparently the fight in the Caribbean airport was between Blonsky and "America's Next Top Model" star Bianca Golden. Her mom Eleine remains in a Miami ICU with a broken nose and cracked skull, relatives tell the New York Post, after allegedly being slugged by Nikki Blonsky's dad, Carl.

Carl is still in a jail cell in the Turks & Caicos and the fam can't get $75K bail together to get him out. Bianca's side claims that Nikki's crew dropped the N-word, and that one of Bianca's peeps said she wouldn't sit next to "any white b****."

Ashley Parker Angel and Aubrey O-Day Are Not A Couple!

A few weeks after calling off his engagement to model Tiffany Lynn, Ashley Parker Angel was tied up in rumors that he was dating his new Hairspray co-star Ashley Parker Angel. That didn't take long!

Aubrey O'Day is slamming the In Touch report that she's “hooking up” with Parker Angel. "The story is completely false," O'Day, 24, tells Usmagazine.com.

"I am having a great time with my co-star on stage and there has never been a romantic relationship at all."

As for Ashley's broken relationship with his son's mother, Tiffany, his rep says, "The two remain close friends as they raise their two-year old son Lyric together."

Hairspray 2?

Variety reports that New Line Cinema (a.k.a. Warner Bros.) has hired John Waters to write a sequel to “Hairspray” so the cast of last year’s hit musical can be reunited for a July 2010 release. Do we think big stars like John Travolta and now, Zac Efron will come back to do a sequel?

John Waters wrote and directed the original 1988 “Hairspray,” which was adapted into a Broadway musical that was adapted again for the screen. The New Line version of Hairspray that came out last year did really well, people loved the re-make. We wonder if a sequel would do just as well, thoughts? I'm not sure how they could adapt the screenplay to keep the storyline going... hmm.

Danity Kane Member Joins Broadway's Hairspray

Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day begins rehearsals Tuesday for a stint in Broadway’s Hairspray. Aubrey will play Amber Von Tussel starting July 18 and running through Aug. 31.

She joins former boy bander, O-Town’s Ashley Parker Angel, who is currently starring as Link Larkin.

Zac Efron : Hollywood's New Teen Heartthrob!
