Evangeline Lilly will put her acting career on hold when Lost ends.

The star, 29, stars as plane crash survivor Kate Austen in the series.

'Before the show I intended to be a humanitarian worker,' she says. 'I’ll have more time to pursue that.'

But Evangeline hasn't ruled out returning to TV screens one day.

'The reality is when you open a door, there is no sense in closing it - so I would never say I’ll never act again,' she admits.

'But it’s definitely not my priority.'

Lost Is Coming Back!

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR LOST FANS:

Just in case you haven't heard the official word. The new season of Lost is back and premieres officially on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at 8 p.m. So super exciting!

We can't wait, there are so many things we need to find out about Jack, Sawyer, Kate and the rest of the gang on and off the island! It will be a 2 hour event, with a recap show followed by the 1 hour premiere of the new season!

According to rumored reports, Evangeline Lilly, who plays 'Kate' on ABC'S Lost, plans to marry her former co-star Dominic Monaghan, aka 'Charlie.'

“Evangeline and Dominic have been spending a lot of time together during the show's hiatus and are very excited about the future,” an insider has said. “Evangeline accepted Dom's proposal while they were away together and they both agree Hawaii is the perfect place for the wedding — both as a location and for sentimental reasons.”

Right now, this claim of future wedding bells is just a rumor that is starting to circulate, keep your ears and eyes open!

Love again for Lost co-stars!

According to reports Lost co-stars Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly are officially an item again. The couple split a few months ago, when Monaghan's character Charlie was killed off the show and the actor moved back to Los Angeles. Lilly remained in Hawaii to continue filming Lost. Sources say the couple "never stopped loving one another" and were only taking a break due to the distance between them. The couple are said to have made frequent phone calls to one another and secret visits, till they finally decided they belong together! Being the Lost junkie that I am, this just makes my week! I truly hope this couple is going strong for a long time to come!
