About Prince William
..............................................................Prince William Arthur Philip Louis was born on June 21, 1982 to Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Prince and Princess of Wales. At his birth he became and is still second in line to the throne of the United Kingdom, after his father. His early life was spent living in London in Kensington Palace. When he was four and a half he started nursery school. When he was 10 his parents separated and they divorced when he was 14. Aged 13, he started at Eton College, an all boys school near Windsor, in Berkshire, and close to Windsor Castle, the home of his grandmother. On August 31, 1997 William was woken up with the news that his mother had died in a car crash in Paris. Since her death he has been very protective of his younger brother, Harry, now a cadet at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Prince William is due to join him in 2006, having graduated from the University of St Andrews with an Upper Second Class Degree in History of Art. If his father accedes to the throne, he is likely to become His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. If William becomes King, it is not known what title he might take, but it is likely to be William V.

About future marriageOn 16 November 2010 it was announced by Clarence House that Prince William and Kate Middleton are to marry in mid-2011 in London. The engagement ring given to Kate was the 18 carat sapphire engagement ring of Diana, Princess of Wales.
