David Hasselhoff to Get His Own Reality TV Show?

Former ‘Baywatch’ star David Hasselhoff– who already appeared in the documentary show ‘Meet the Hasselhoffs’ earlier this year – has reportedly signed up to do a new reality show on A+E with his teenage daughters Hayley and Taylor.

“We are discussing a possibility of doing a documentary series with David and his kids," a representative for the network told TMZ.

Sources at the TV network say that a contract has not been made yet, but Hayley, 17, insists the deal has already been finalised.

“The Hasselhoffs signed the deal with A+E… Get ready for it," Hayley wrote on her Twitter page.

David has Hayley and 19-year-old Taylor with his ex-wife, actress Pamela Bach – who will not appear in the show.

A spokesperson for David confirmed the star is in talks with the network but claims details have not yet been finalized.

Hasselhoff's social network booming

David Hasselhoff's new social network, called Hoff Space, reportedly already has more than 8,000 members.

The 55-year-old actor said he launched the site because he kept encountering faux accounts in his or his children's names on other social networking sites.

"I couldn't really get the Internet together, but because Knight Rider and Baywatch and this Hoff thing has taken off so much around the world, we put together our own Hoff Space," he told BBC Radio 1.

Hasselhoff said he his social network is "going to be fun" and he likes how he can regulate it.

"It's a way of going around the world from Russia, to Japan, to Europe and getting a pulse on all the crazy people out there."

In other Hasselhoff news, the actor has recently been snubbed TV bosses who are planning to bring back Knight Rider without him.

"It's going to miss the target a little bit... It's like have Indiana Jones without Indiana Jones," he said.

The pilot for the new show aired in February, and the first series will begin in the fall. Hasselhoff, who made a cameo in the pilot, said producers missed the boat because it does not have the same retro feel the original had.

"I mean, everybody grew up watching that show and they loved it. They missed the point of heart, humour and action," he said. "They didn't have heart, humour and I don't know how they didn't have action."

David Hasselhoff hospitalized

David Hasselhoff was taken to UCLA Medical Center Saturday to treat an eye problem. Although rumors circulated that the actor - who has been treated for alcoholism in the past - was returning to rehab, publicist Judy Katz told the Associated Press Monday that was not the case.

"He's fine; he had something removed," Katz said. "He's coming out tonight."

Katz declined to comment further on the nature of the problem.

Just last week Hasselhoff's divorce to Pamela Bach was settled. Hasselhoff will pay $25,000 a month to support Bach and their two daughters. The two divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage; they retain joint custody.
