Causing a Como-tion: Mad Men star Christina Hendricks showed off her voluptuous figure in a black swimsuit in the Villa D'Este resort in Lake Como


Her curves are adored by men the world over and she is one of the most voluptuous stars of the moment with that classic hourglass figure.

So it’s no surprise she caused a commotion when she went for a dip in a black swimsuit while on holiday in the Italian resort of Lake Como.

The Mad Men actress showed off her considerable curves in the black swimming costume which she teamed with a straw hat.

The actress enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool with her friend Tamara Mello Lynn as they soaked up the sunshine at the plush Villa D’Este resort.

As Christina emerged from the water and dried off with a towel she covered up with a black wraparound dress.

The paid enjoyed a lunch in the resort’s café and the actress was also seen walking through the picturesque grounds with a book.

It was reported this year that there had been a sharp rise in breast augmentation in the UK because British women were longing to look more like Christina.

The actress told the Mail’s You magazine: ‘I hope I’m not encouraging that. ‘If there’s anything to be learned from me it’s that I’m learning to celebrate what I was born with, even though it’s sometimes been inconvenient.’


Christina is certainly in high demand wit her upcoming films including I Don’t Know How She Does It alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Drive with Carey Mulligan.

Christina Hendricks has been surprised, and even baffled by people's reaction to her body shape, but there's one question that leaves her particularly aghast.

"It's so bizarre that people are constantly asking if my breasts are real or fake," she told Britain's Daily Mail. "They're so obviously real that anyone who's ever seen or touched a breast would know.

Christina Hendricks, star of the hit television show “Mad Men,” had a bit of a scare at the Golden Globes Sunday night when she temporarily lost a diamond bracelet worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The latest celebrity news and gossip is that after walking the red carpet Hendricks, who plays Joan Holloway on the AMC drama, realized she was missing the bracelet, lent to her by the jeweler Chopard.

The blingy fashion accessory that fell off was a 124-carat pear cut diamond bracelet set in platinum, and is worth $850,000. Fortunately, someone found the bracelet and turned it in to security. Once she had it back in her possession, Hendricks realized she couldn’t fasten it properly, and arranged to have her publicist hold onto the bracelet until the evening was over.
