Brandy has come clean about her fake marriage.

The singer announced she’d secretly wed her boyfriend Robert Smith in 2002, just four months before giving birth to their daughter Sy’rai.

She maintained that they had tied the knot in secret the year before.

‘I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model,’ she tells Us Weekly.

‘Our relationship was very real, we just weren't legally married.'

Brandy Is Back!

Does everyone remember Brandy? It's been four years since we've heard anything from the R&B singer. Well, she's back! She's getting ready for her comeback with the release of a new album soon. The songstress was spotted filming a music video for the new single “Right Here (Departed)” from her forthcoming album “Human” in downtown Los Angeles. She looks really skinny! Thoughts?

What type of music are we expecting to hear from Brandy? She said, "Human is my most personal album to date. I have grown so much since my last album. Being able to express myself and my journey through my music is a feeling I can’t describe. With this new chapter of my life it feels good to have Rodney [Jerkins, her producer], a familiar face, by my side again. He brings out emotions in me like nobody else.” The album is expected to come out on November 11th but make sure you listen to the radio next week because her single is dropping on the 26th of August!

Kardashian Sisters Get Sued

The three eldest Kardashian girls, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney, are getting sued! Sonja Norwood, the mother of singer Brandy and Kim’s ex-boyfriend Ray J (the co-star in Kim’s accidentally leaked sex-tape), has accused the girls of making unauthorized charges of more than $100,000 on Norwood’s American express card.

Kim, who was a stylist at the time, was given the card to make only ONE purchase, but she apparently lent the card out to her sisters. The suit states that in 2006 the girls spent $63, 793 and in 2007 spent another $57, 841, mostly in their own stores. It seems that even they have trouble keeping up with themselves.

Kim told People that they had permission to use the card and that they have “signatures on all of the items.” Clearly Norwood disagrees. If the lawsuit is won, the Kardashian sisters would have to repay all of the charges plus a ten percent interest.

R&B star BRANDY finally has something to smile about as she battles accusations she caused a December (06) freeway pile-up that left one motorist dead - she's allegedly become engaged.

Movie star/singer Tyrese Gibson has proposed to single mum Brandy, according to Internet gossip site Hollyscoop.com.

Sources claim the couple has secretly been an on-and-off item for years, and Gibson asked Brandy to be his wife at a family party held earlier this month (Jun07).

The party, which Brandy threw for a pregnant pal, quickly became an engagement bash, according to the website.

Like his reported new fiancee, Gibson has faced legal problems in 2007 - he was at the centre of a criminal investigation after reportedly punching his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach in January (07).

At the time, police sources in Los Angeles confirmed the 2 Fast 2 Furious star's live-in girlfriend, who was then five months pregnant, called police claiming the singer had punched her in the stomach twice during a heated argument.

Gibson's girlfriend has since played down the domestic fight, insisting reports were distorted, and the actor/singer has branded the reports "not true."

Brandy reportedly wed Robert Smith, the father of her daughter Sy'Rai, when she discovered she was pregnant in 2001. Producer Smith claims the couple was never legally married.
