Most celebrities have cringe-worthy jobs they took on when trying to make it in Tinseltown (that usually involve porn and/or the casting couch), but for 36-year-old Kerri Russell, her mortifying moment is still being passed down thru the generations. At just the tender age of 17, Russell appeared as the “other woman” in Bon Jovi’s hit music video “Always.”

“I was recently in a movie theater, and this young kid in the front was like ‘are you the girl in the green bra in the Bon Jovi video?’ I could have died,” the “Bedtime Stories” starlet told Tarts, shaking her head with mortification.

Girl, it's not that serious. Always is a GREAT Bon Jovi song (though Bed of Roses still ranks as the best Bon Jovi song ever written), even if the video IS a little cheeseball. I get such a kick out of watching the video. It’s so bad, it's good! Carla Gugino and Jake Noseworthy star in it as well - it’s so funny, they ALL went on to successful careers afterward! The Guardian has confirmed that organizers of Live Earth India have canceled the concert because of security fears after last week's attacks in Mumbai.

Gunmen opened fire at hotels, a railway station and other sites across the city, killing more than 170 people. Although the authorities have brought the situation under control, Bon Jovi and other acts were quick to cancel travel plans - prompting organizers to call off the sold-out charity gig.

Bollywood stars such as Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan had been scheduled to perform alongside western artists Will.I.Am and Roger Waters at the Andheri Sports Complex on December 7. The concert was designed to highlight environmental concerns and India's Light a Billion Lives solar energy program.

Organizers of Live Earth India said in a statement that they were "shocked and saddened" by the attacks.

"We always felt very welcomed and safe as we spent more time on the ground in Mumbai to finalize plans," they wrote.

The Live Earth concerts were masterminded by former US president Al Gore and partner Kevin Wall. They have taken place around the world, including gigs in London, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney.

Maybe You Can't Go Home Again

Here comes another one! Jon Bon Jovi isn't happy that his country-tinged hit "Who Says You Can't Go Home" has been played this week during rallies headlined by Sen. John McCain's running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin. The singer, a vocal and financial supporter of Sen. Barack Obama's presidential bid, issued a statement to TMZ:

"We are surprised to hear that our song, 'Who Says You Can't Go Home' was used by the McCain campaign at rallies yesterday and today. We wrote this song as a thank you to those who have supported us over the past twenty-five years. The song has since become a banner for our home state of New Jersey and the defacto theme song for our partnerships around the country to build homes and rebuild communities. Although we were not asked, we do not approve of their use of 'Home.'"

Bon Jovi held a private fundraiser at his home in September that raised a reported $4.1 million for the Obama campaign. It really seems like music artists are getting tied into these political campaigns and either signing on to play a huge concert for their Presidential pick of choice or they're simply saying, "Hey, I don't want to be your soundtrack!"

Bon Jovi to one day run for Governor of NJ!

Jon Bon Jovi is planning to run for Governor of New Jersey. The Bon Jovi frontman has indicated he will one day run for office by keeping his home in Red Bank - an artistic community in New Jersey - even though he and his family have moved to SoHo, New York. A source said: "He is interested in running for governor. That is why he kept the house and performs at fundraisers for Democrats like Al Gore.

The 45-year-old rocker's representative admitted Bon Jovi has discussed becoming a governor, but insists he is too busy with his music career to get involved in politics.Ken Sunshine said: "Jon has been approached many times about running for office."His day job is going too well, and this way he can keep the house in Red Bank."

Bon Jovi isn't the first celebrity to enter politics. Action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger quit Hollywood to become Governor of California, while Ronald Reagan moved from the big screen to the White House when he became US President.
