David Dhawan to direct for Amisha Patel

Amisha Patel, who launched her new production house, finally got a director in the form of David Dhawan. We had reported just yesterday that, Amisha Patel was desperately finding one director to kick start her debut production. However, in spite her every effort, she did not find anyone.

However, according to the latest reports, David Dhawan – the famous director, who is known to have worked in many successful films with ace comedian Govinda, has agreed to take up Amisha’s project. This will relieve a lot of tension off Amisha, who was getting desperate to the point of frustration.

What has brought David Dhawan to direct Amisha’s film, which was suspended in mid-air for so many days? Currently, David is directing the film Rascals, which is produced by Sanjay Dutt. Has the closeness of Amisha Patel with the Sanjay Dutt family helped her in being successful in roping in a director like David Dhawan.

Well, let us not ask these questions now and let Amisha bask in the good developments now.

No director to work with Amisha Patel – the producer?

Why is it that the leading lady of successful films like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and Gadar, Amisha Patel is finding it hard to kick off her debut production? She had announced the launch of her own production house some days back and also came up with a film as well.

However, according to experts, she should have waited for right moment before announcing her film. Amisha now finds herself in a fix as there is no director as of now, ready to work with her. This has made her do nothing more than wait for any prominent director to take up her work.

Amisha has approached directors like Priyadarshan and Kunal Kohli. However, all are already busy with their respective projects in hands and it’s hard to get some time off instantly. It is rumored that, Amisha had personally requested director Imtiaz Ali to at least have a look at the script.

However, the request from Amisha seems to have fallen on deaf ears or maybe not. But Imtiaz is currently busy with the work of the post-production of the film Rockstar.

Let’s see when Amisha Patel’s lady luck starts to shine. We hope, the damsel gets out of distress sooner than later.

Amongst the entire Bollywood that was behind Team India from day one, and especially from the India Pakistan match, Amisha had to be that special lady for Yuvraj Singh who guided India to victory in almost all the nine matches.

Yuvraj had kept this thing a secret as to who his special guest would be. Amisha was also present on the occasion of the World Cup finals and was one of the millions of fans who were cheering for India.

Not many may know, but Amisha Patel is the close friend of cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Amisha disclosed that it was Yuvraj who had sent her that special invitation to be a part of the World Cup finals.

Amisha did not hesitate to cheer for Yuvraj even in the presence of other Bollywood personalities like Ranbir Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
