I've edited the original post. I've changed "Mac Software" to just "Software". Making it more of a hybrid of the previous options.

I don't think anyone doubts the machine can do the expose effect (the iPad 1 does it in Safari just fine).
There are plenty of reasons it might have been turned down for their final switcher implementation. One, the final iOS allows a variable number of programs to remain open depending on their memory requirements. The expose implementation implies that 9 can be open. That's inconsistent UI. Two, as others have mentioned, you can't always tell the difference between apps at a glance from little screenshots. So they went with icons in the end.
It can be scrollable. And can't icons just be overlaid in the corner a'la Lion Mission Control?

Of course it applies. Your assinine response has me thinking you're a jerk. Had you responded in a positive manner, even if disagreeing, my opinion of you would be entirely different. How's that for a simple real life example? Positivity is always preferable to negativity.
But don't you think everyone is frustrated by the little things that the ads pick apart? And anyone who is is anyone who may potentially switch.
I think it's brilliant.

Are you saying you're happy it costs $99? You don't want to pay less, no? The more complaining and bad feedback we give Apple that this service is simply too expensive the better, and the better chance we have they will begin to pay attention to loads (http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=.Mac%20too%20expensive&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8) of posts/blogs/and stories on this. I feel sick when I have to tell someone how much it costs. I mean they say .Mac syncing is included! You have to pay to sync computers that you payed money for, and worse still you have to give it to the company you bought the computers from?? Give me a break! GMail is free too. iWeb provides little bandwidth, and the whole this is wrapped-up with a tiny storage package. And I don't think the solution is for Apple to give us more storage. I would prefer a cheaper price to more storage any-day. If you want moe storage then you pay $99, otherwise this should cost no more than $49 per year. At the VERY MOST!!
Well, now Apple's onto your little scheme and they'll NEVER charge less!
Seriously, though, I doubt Apple cares what people are saying on the MacRumors forum. I'd of course like them to up the storage too, and what I really want is a spam filter in the webmail. It's why I never check my .mac account anymore. Way too much spam.

Strange...maybe it's just a rehash of Itunes 7 and the Ipods to the EU... though Aperture 1.5 should be on its' way soon. Though I'm actually hoping for a nice leica/zeiss announcement.

I'll second that, no intel 3000 will be entering my house
And I doubt that there will be a backlit keyboard again. As I said in the last thread apple took it out for a reason not for fun

I am new here to the forum and was wondering if anyone could advise why only some of my contacts have matched accross?
Is it due to the fact that some of my numbers start +44 in my phonebook and they may start 07.... in facebook??
not sure what credentials it uses to compare and match the different phonebooks i.e name, number ect.
anyone know? :D

It's about $3.90 here. But that sucks, because it costs like 65 bucks to fill my Jeep. Gas Guzzler, the price you pay to be able to drive in snow.

Have you actually used it or are you just talking crap? The new version is actually really good and in my opinion BETTER than Apples product.
Agreed. A lot of people gave the previous Office crap (and rightfully so), but I've been very impressed with Office '11 and haven't looked back.
Dropped Apple Mail for Outlook, gave up on Pages a long long time ago, and Keynote's a nice toy to play with time to time. Office '11 for Mac is a very impressive showing on Microsoft's part.

Not enough to justify the non-inclusion of LTE/4G.
Two years from now, you'll be wishing you had faster access to streaming content (the mythical "cloud") than a bit more processing power to play a game that was designed to be playable on the iPhone 4 anyway.
I justified in my post why LTE/4G is not good for the next revision. Make an argument against that statement.
Beside, two years from now I'll be wishing nothing. 3G is good enough for browsing and I get WiFi in my house, at work and university. Two years from now, is two iPhone revisions. Most people don't even use SmartPhones, nor they care and the iPhone has the highest reselling value in hardware. So what should I be wishing for?

Also For a 5th gen leaked ipod its pretty beaten up. I mean if i had somehow got a prototype i would keep it in a glass cabinet surrounded with cushions to stop it getting beat up. And wouldn't it run iOS5 if its the fifth generation? so why doesn't he tell us about that?

50 billion out of a budget of what? A trillion and a bit?
I could remove 25% of your body weight and make you slim and sexy.
On the other hand, I could remove less than 2% of your body weight and render you a useless, comatose, vegetable.
It's not a matter of how much is cut as it is what is cut.

BTW.... Word and Excel are the only two applications from MS I like... and others are right. Pages and Numbers can't hold a candle to Office... yet.
But I have always found it annoying that many times while trouble shooting or surfing MS web site you're constantly reminded you're not running the latest version of Windows. Subtle marketing I guess?

They are not looking to cut funding for PP, they are looking to eliminate funding.
This is all a circle jerk. They are arguing over less than 1% of the budget. We are 6 months into the budget year already. Can you imagine what the 2012 budget negotiations will be like?
Oh I didn't realize they wanted to eliminate funding, I thought it was just an argument over reducing it.
I agree they can't seem to make 1% cuts how in the world are they going to make the cuts we really need? We have a spending problem, but I also think we have a revenue problem. Spending needs to be cut and taxes need to go up until we have a situation where $1 in taxes = $1 in spending. If that was the case things would look MUCH different, but we would be in much better shape for the long term future.

most of the people who don't stop eating for like 3 months to buy an iPhone 4, will probably afford and buy that kit but the other ones like me won't do that
I don't even have an iPhone 4 !
Besides those things, I'm glad for that kid making so much money with such a brilliant idea.

iOS Expose could be an improvement to multitasking, maybe they need to wait for the A5 to have the power to make it work.
64GB should have happened a long time ago imo.
If the Palm Pre can do it with crappy hardware, and have live previews, Apple should be able to do the same...
