what are you after then?
I want to be able to move several events to another day or time, and since there's no "shift event times" feature, I want to at least be able to cut and paste them and remain in their original calendar! This happens every time there is a change in a day's schedule where several events have to happen sequentially.
For instance, let's say this is my typical monday schedule

3rd party apps crash, all of the them :mad: The standard Apple apps still work.
Terrible update. :mad:
Some apps, like Wikipedia, crash immediately after you try launching them. Not all 3rd party apps crash, but many do. Do NOT install this update! :mad:

In response to the ebay comment, why are they seemingly so dumb? I wanted to buy a new canon lens recently and i always buy my photography equipment from B&H (probably the most reputable place on the planet) but first i looked on ebay to see if i could get a used one for a lot less. None of the auctions went for significantly less than new at B&H (especially when you factor in shipping) and at least one auction ended of about $30 more than retail. I dont get it! Don't people do ANY research?

I would guess part of the reason is the "White" Iphone was just released and they are hoping they can unload them all.
All I can say the new one better have a 4" screen, 8Meg Camera, More memory, IOS 5 and a faster processor. What else did I miss :)

This is almost the standard specification for most Android phones any more so I don't think I'm asking for too much.
Backwards, they knew they were going to delay iPhone 5 so they saved white iPhone 4 so they'd have SOMETHING to release between 4 and 5.

The MacBook Pro isn't the only model to get attention today. The iMac is now available with a 750 GB hard drive, for $200 more than the 500 GB drive. Good news for storing DVDs or high-def programs.
The Mac Pro also has 750GB options (for bays 2 - 4 there are now options for 500GB or 750GB).

That's one naff design, Horrid I tell you absolutely horrid. In part too it contravenes apples design philosophy; No way would apple resign gesture control to the home key, if anything they would de-funk the home key and have the entire bottom edge as gesture control.

The only bright side to this upgrade is the fact that battery might last extra :30 -1:00 hour.
Does this mean we might see thunderbolt in the new MBA? (which i dont even care)
If the CPU processing is really that faster than the 2.13 I would like to know since I ordered an MBA yesterday :P
Clock speed isn't everything. The sandy bridge i5 should be considerably faster. With that said, buying a MBA to do intensive things with is questionable to begin with.

The Might Mouse is the worst piece of crap Apple has ever released. Everyone knows it!
The only reason anyone would buy this thing is because of blind Apple brand loyalty.
That and the fact that it matches my iMac better than any other mouse. But still, I'll use my Logitech wired until Apple can come up with a decent mouse. Form only gets you so far.

Mmm .. no. The reason you don't see it much is because XP SP2 is pretty rock solid as far as operating systems go.
Well, it is better than previous versions of windows. Both are reasons you don't see it as much.
My pc used to crash fairly often, and it was often when it was just sitting there and I wasn't even using it. Based on the number of times it happened when I was around, I can only imagine how many times it happened and I was unaware.

Bye Bye UI Guidelines.
This is going to be huge for Mac OS X. UI Guidelines were great but could stagnant the look. The OS needs to look rich in colour.
Very happy with the change and the development.
Just my 2 cents.

There is no incentive to go to a Zune. Same DRM, same features. THe people who hate the iPod and buy Creative aren't switching to Zune. They don't want to be locked into DRM. So unless microsoft really does something innovative it is just another player in a sea of non-iPods.
That's a good point. I think people are happy with what's available to them and I'm not so sure that an all-encompassing portable media device is ncessary. I've had 4g ipod for a couple of years now. Use it at the gym and when mowing the lawn. I don't think I'm the typical iPod user, but how much portable entertainment is too much? I always thought Walkmen and iPods were a little antisocial, people tend to shut themselves in. I think MS would be better off creating the next media paradigm.

a module for layout and one for word processing??? Please no!!!! To me that sounds more complex. If i want to type a document I just open a blank template. What is so difficult about that?
