Thanks for the replies on my last post. I agree that it should be about the cause and it definitely still is for me and lots of the lovely people who have supported me, but I guess if I want to reach out to people I know and twitter followers who are not vintage and handmade fans then I was thinking of a prize that will appeal to the masses. It's a real shame that I don't have more time as I'd love to do other events, but I have to be realistic and accept that I'm out of the house at work for 12 hours a day and most weekends I have something on.
I've contacted a few companies that have products I love so fingers crossed I can get some more prizes for more raffles.
Wardrobe £12 on ebay - painted in French grey, covered in Laura Ashley wallpaper and new glass handles.I am so grateful for those who have donated lovely prizes and who have bought tickets for my raffles so far - it means a lot to me! x My current raffle has lovely prizes donated by the Felt Fairy and Freddie and you can still enter here.
Now on to other news - I spent all last weekend going through my clothes for charity (7 huge bags to be exact), rearranging furniture, bringing in my lovely 1930s revamped wardrobe (bought for £12 on ebay) and getting rid of a chest of drawers on freecycle. It's made the spare room look huge and I'm so pleased!
I'm going to get up tomorrow and go for a run - I'm now on week 2 of freeway to 10k.
Hope you're having a sweet weekend.
