I've completely rearranged my craft room today as it was turning into a bit of a junk room. There's still lots more sorting to do yet, but it feels twice the size and I now have plenty of room to use my x-trainer. There's almost room in the middle to swing a cat! The fabric on the bed is some lovely dress making fabric I bought last year. The fact is I'm not skilled enough to make clothes and I don't have the time so that will hopefully go to someone at work who is a talented seamstress.
My parents came round today for lunch. They have been sorting through my grandparents house as they are moving into a flat. They said my grandparents have a few bits of furniture we can have - 2x utility wardrobes from the 1950s - can't wait to paint/wallpaper those - and a small bookcase. My little bookcase in my craft room is overflowing so I could do with a bigger one.
There are so many projects I haven't got around to doing though - a clothes airer, a fire screen, a sewing box (above) and a small chair. I really need to get going again with the projects!
While I was sorting through my room, I've realised that I no longer have room for this chair and also I have a stack of Cath Kidston catalogues that need a new home (these catalogues go for loads on ebay!). These are now listed in my charity shop if anyone is interested.
