New year's resolutions and clear outs

It's that time again when you start looking back at what you have achieved over the previous year (mine are here) and thinking about what you want to achieve for the year ahead. I got rid of over 100 homes and interiors magazines to some lucky lady on Freecycle (seems a lot but last year I got rid of twice that!) to make way for our new books that we got at Christmas. I love having a good sort out! :-)

My goals for this year are as follows:
  • I'd like to get down to 10 stone - I know that's not particularly light, but I'm combining diet (increasing protein intake) with rigorous exercise to build muscle
  • I'm signing up for another photography course in April - I'm really enjoying experimenting with my new flash and portrait lens, but I want to learn how to be more creative
  • I want to raise another £1600 for Alzheimer's Society - just want to say a huge thank you for all your support so far! x
  • I need to kick start the building work in this house - we've kind of not got round to a few things, but we really need the bathroom done so must start work on that asap!
  • Get 2 more bantam hens
  • Sort out our bedroom - replastering, carpeting
  • Climb Kilimanjaro, meet some great people and hopefully spend some time relaxing in Zanzibar
  • Sort out my sewing room - rearrange the desk and bed, and move the wall.
I'm sure I'll think of some more, but for now I think these goals are more than achievable!

What are you aiming for in 2011?
