Because I'm both lazy and forgetful, I always have some things in my stash so that I can rustle up a present or card at the 11th hour. Some absolute essentials are florist's cellophane, ribbon (collected from gifts, some bought), some pre-made homemade cards or a stash of shop-bought ones, and parcel tags.
Today's easy gift idea is my hot chocolate mug. All of the contents of the mug you can buy in any supermarket. I buy a selection of small chocolates (Green & Blacks work well), some sachets of hot chocolate or Horlicks (work out about 49p each), marsh mallows, candy canes - whatever you fancy really. Here I have a Christmas mug that I bought in Sainsbury's for around £3.
Fill the mug up with a selection of goodies, wrap it up in cellophane (the more the better I find) and tie with a pretty ribbon. It really is as simple as that but doesn't it look great?
