Captain Vijayakanth is all set to launch his very own satellite television channel.
This is yet another satellite TV channel, set up by yet another politician. Vijayakanth has named his channel after his caption – Captain.

So he is inviting all the film hotshots in South India, including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Telugu star Chiranjeevi, etc. He has planned to make the occasion itself a programme on his TV channel.
More over, the event will be mostly held in Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor stadium in Chennai.
Being the Former President of the Film Artists Association, Vijayakanth is expecting all his colleagues from the film industry to be part of the launch.
With Captain TV’s launch, all political parties in Tamil Nadu will have a television channel each. So the political wars go on air as well!
Eavesdropping on the launch, sources say that the first movie that will be telecasted on Captain TV will be ‘Captain Prabhakar’. Not just that captain, another highlight of the event, sources say that Indian Cricket Team Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is also on the invite list.
