[Not actually my car, but mine is identical]
I have had a wonderful week off. On Monday and Tuesday I managed to paint a few things that I have been meaning to do for ages and ages. I also reupholstered that chair I have had for over a year. On Wednesday I went to pick up my lovely little Rav - some might think I have down graded, but I've got a great little car I can drive in the snow and ice, I've paid off the car loan on my previous car and got enough left over to pay off my credit card. Plus, I've got myself a cute little car that I've been bombing around in.

I also went to
Claridges for afternoon tea on Wednesday with my mum. Here we are enjoying tea and cakes.

On Thursday and I went shopping and bought some new clothes (mainly dresses because I love wearing dresses) using my birthday money. I also cleaned out the lovely chooks.

On Friday I went to boot camp first thing and then popped to Bristol to see Tim's family. On Saturday we went all round the charity shops and bric a brac shops in Bristol. I bought stacks of things for a total cost of £50. I bought 8 dresses, a jacket, 2 tops, 3 belts and a bag. Some of the things I bought were designer, and some things still had the original tags on. Bristol has some lovely boutique charity shops so do check them out if you get the chance. At the moment I'm into wearing dresses with boots and accessorising with belts, chunky jewellery and I have a selection of vintage scarves that I like to wear. Anything I can do to look a little bit different from the crowd and to jazz an outfit up. I find wearign dresses very easy as all you have to think about is what tights to wear (I have enough of those to dress the village :-)). You don't have to worry about combining tops with trousers or skirts. I'm just lazy really. I also think it's quite flattering to wear nice fitted dresses if you are a little bit curvy like I am.
Tomorrow is my first day of my new job so wish me luck! :-)
