Anushka's Vikramarkudu in Tamil

                     Tollywood's ace director S.S. Rajamouli's 2006 blockbuster Vikramarkudu, which was dubbed in Malayalam as Vikramathithya, will be remade in Tamil soon by cinematographer-turned-director Shiva with Karthi as hero. Studio Green will produce this movie. More details are awaited.

Starring Ravi Teja and Anushka in the lead, Vikramarkudu tells the story of Athili Sathi Babu, a small-time thief who is crazy about acts of daredevilry. He falls in love with Neeraja. But one day, he is shocked when a girl turns up and claims that he is her father. After recovering from the stunning blow, he slowly starts to find the truth behind the claim.

An 'A' certified film owing to its vulgar comedy and violence, Vikramarkudu had Ravi Teja playing a dual role for the first time in his career. For his commendable performance in this flick, Ravi Teja was widely praised even by big stars like Chiranjeevi and Dasari Narayana Rao.
