Today we've been cutting back the garden and tidying it up a bit. The little girls have been settling in nicely, they are simply adorable! If you are thinking of getting chickens then I highly recommend bantams, they are super cute and really friendly!
After tidying the garden I decided to do a quick makeover that I've been wanting to do for a while. I bought this slightly naff looking head board from BHS a while ago and have been meaning to recover it. I went through my stash and came across this Cath Kidston Washed Roses piece I'd forgotten I even had! It was just the right amount at 0.5 metres. All I did was staple the fabric all around and voila, 'Simples!'. ;-) 10 minute job, but look at how nice it looks!
Tomorrow I am going to put up some pictures, makeover a lovely Georgian chair I got through freecycle and move the compost bin to the bottom of the secret garden.
