Gardening etc

We have spent the best part of today tidying up the garden. I'm not the world's greatest gardener - I don't get much time because I work long hours, and some weekends all I want to do is crash out, but I was determined this weekend to make use of it!

I found this sweet little wheel barrow planter that I rescued from my parents' house. I've put some sage in it for now, but I'll buy some more herbs to put in it tomorrow. We cleaned the junky area with the log store and compost bins. I will also buy a new willow screen to hide the log store tomorrow, but for now it looks a whole lot tidier than it did yesterday.

I also found these curtains and put them up, I bought them on ebay a while ago, but they needed taking down a bit to fit the window. They are still a bit too short so I think I will trim them with pink gingham or something.

I have charged Tim with putting up my painting this week to finish the spare bedroom and fixing my chair so that I can paint it so that will be another couple of things ticked off my list. If I have time I will take a day off this week (I'm due a day for ruining my weekend travelling!) to do some more crafting and generally do some of the things I haven't been able to do trough shear lack of time and exhaustion!

Tim made a nice pizza for dinner tonight. It was so delicious. I haven't been shopping for a while so it was all store cupboard ingredients, but tasted delicious!

I hope you've all had an enjoyable weekend!
