Crochet and frames

I went to the crochet course yesterday, gosh I learnt quickly! I know all the basic stitches now and can hold the hook correctly, I seem to have got the tension sorted out too. If you fancy having a go, the course is held here in Chailey near Lewes. You could make a couple of days of it and go around Lewes (beautiful and very old town loaded with antique shops), then pop to Sheffield Park Gardens and perhaps take a trip on the Bluebell Railway.

I still haven't had the chance to properly concentrate on a pattern just yet, but I'm going to make a purse:



then I'm going to have a go at trimming the knitted baby blanket I made with a crochet edge.
