Valentine's swap and tea cosies (again!)

Look what arrived this morning (perfect timing too) all the way from Australia!

My valentines swap parcel of course - thank you Doily it's beautiful!

I got a really well made piece of lovely quilting, some homemade badges, and a handmade card!I have put a hook on the quilted fabrics and it's now hanging in my sewing room, doesn't it look pretty?

I made another tea cosy, this time a union jack one with a Cath Kidston washed roses heart. I'll be adding this to my shop shortly.

We collected the half pig yesterday - what a lovely Christmas present that was! It was all packaged up beautifully and clearly marked up and is now in our half size chest freezer. I think next time, now that we know how much space we have, we'll order a whole pig. We are having wild duck (£3.50 each - I challenge you to find it for that price in the supermarket! ;-)) from the farm tonight and will be testing out a leg joint tomorrow for dinner. It's all very exciting having our own meat in the freezer! :-)

It suddenly occurred to me that I haven't posted about my lovely chickens, Margo and Jerry, for a while so I shall be posting about them tomorrow. I hope you all have a good evening!

P.S I have a received a couple of awards - thank you! I shall be posting about those asap! :-)
